Like I said, it was wild seeing the thing on the road in the middle of the day. Though I'm sure it happens more often then I realize even though I'm always driving on property, it was a first for me. Just one more reason I enjoy living where I do.

I believe you that the real ride cars aren't driveable, but it sure was odd to see what looked like one driving on the road. Though, why would they keep it over by MK and not there at EPCOT?

You've got a fifty-fifty chance of it being open to park guests. I got the lucky chance to ride it a few days ago (my mom works @ DAK) and it was a blast. Though I too am hopeful it's open at least by mid Feb, as my B-Day is at the end of the month, I'd like to ride it on that day.

If I walk to Magic Kingdom's gate, it takes about 30mins. If I drive, it takes a few minutes. One benefit of living directly behind the Magic Kingdom.:D

There's really no thunderstorms in March/April. The days are mostly nice, though March weather is a little bit more dreary then April. Also, that time of year is when Easter is, and let me say this, crowds are terrible during easter.

Epcot82guy, you nailed one of the main reasons I never tire of Disney. Seeing kids get excited to see characters, buildings and everything Disney has going on. Heck, I just drove my niece and nephew on property and my niece was all excited cause it meant that she'd be able to see Mickey Mouse...

It's always good to hear about positive and happy things when it seems everyone wants to talk about negatives. After reading this, i had to clean my contacts, something seemed to get in them and cause my eyes to water. Again, I'm happy to hear your very positive experiences.

There is a DVD out called "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth." It's a documentary about his life and all. If you're on disney property, you can actually buy this dvd at many of the stores that sell dvd's, otherwise, do a google search and you can find lots of sites selling it.
