Rarotonga Rarotonga would have to be my favorite. Next to the main building, arcade, laundry, and the parking lot. Very close to pool, TTC, and food. It is what we usually request.

Eating at other hotel restaurants. Sure. I have done it many times, but always with a reservation. I am not sure if that is a requirement or not. I think if you have a car and you have the parking pass in it you can always get in to other hotels. Otherwise without a car it isn't a problem...

The bathrooms are open all the time but late at night until early morning you need the Key card to open them.
