Agreed. I personally thought that Trolls movie looked hideous from the start save for the 2D sequence I saw in the trailer. It made me wince.

Definitely. I connected a lot more to Hunchback. Its musical score is also arguably stronger than Pocahontas.

I think in this case the real answer is management shakeup.

I personally prefer Hunchback because it has more oomph to it. Pocahontas has its moments though. Apparently WISH is on track to earn $75 million worldwide for opening weekend; whether that's good or bad is up for debate.

I don't even consider Pocahontas a remotely bad film at all. It has its heart in the right place and has lovely visuals and music, and on its own it's a solid film, but coming on the heels of The Lion King it comes across as underwhelming by comparison. If Wish is more like Pocahontas I'll...

Last I heard they are doing it at the Vancouver Disney Studio. But apparently they are having supervision from Mark Henn, or at least that's what I heard.

Which is why I feel they need new management instead of anything else. But they are moving ahead with TIANA on Disney Plus and training 2D animators, so who knows?

I am very, very doubtful that will happen, but who knows. I do agree that this sounds like more of a KIDS' movie than a movie for everyone. I do think Disney could do better, though. Starting with getting better management.
