The way you talk about all the bands and types of bands is what I wish was more evident in the ride. Or have one type of band member from each band set join together for Louis’s band. But alas. Thank you for sharing!

I think Tiana 1 is too many words and could be missed. But I think, “Louis needs help putting a Bayou band together for tonight’s big party!” Or something similar would help..

If you do ever watch PATF (and you should!) you’ll be even more disappointed. PATF would’ve done very well as a book report ride..

I wish this had been way more simplified. I like that one idea about having a band missing for the party. So we’re going down the Bayou to gather musicians and now we’re late to the party so Mama Odie sends us on a short cut. Even Louis trying to find his missing trumpet is cuter/more coherent…

There’s just clearly way more fauna and flora than animals/animatronics. Definitely less exciting… also I personally don’t like how spotlighted Tiana/others gets versus softer lighting to blend into the scene.

Weirdly enough I miss the homemade-ness of Splash, when looking at these comparisons. Mainly the banner and the weird nailed logs, lol. Seem way more natural. That scene with Tiana by herself in her hat feels starkly empty but eh. Still hyped to ride it. In like 5 years.

(Does anyone remember Lion King 1 1/2’s dvd menu theme park ride? Amazing.)

I guess I was one of the few who vibed with the rumor of Moana joining DAK, so long as it came with Polynesian theming and animals. The film has conservation/nature themes aplenty. I still think DAK would do well with adding this part of the world, esp. in conjunction with Nemo. But I’m excited...
