    Barbossa vs. Original Pirate Captain

I'd really like Barbossa as he is seen in Paris, just this time not taking over a classic scene.

    Barbossa vs. Original Pirate Captain

I believe the Pirate Captain's name is actually Morgan. Earlier I was reading an unused script for the ride, so that's where I found it out.

    Barbossa vs. Original Pirate Captain

I prefer the original Paul Frees Pirate Captain (luckily still in Paris) but I also love the Barbossa animatronic at the same time.

I guess there are differences, the portrait is wearing a tricorn, while the animatronic is wearing the classic jolly roger hat. There is a difference with the coat as well. It looks blue, while the other is red. And the portrait doesn't have a braided beard.

Over at POTC, before Jack Sparrow was added at Disneyland, you could see pirates struggling to pull treasure up some stairs. But lying in the treasure is a portrait of the original "Pirate Captain", if anyone has a clear photo of that, let me know.

    The GMR Control Panel

So, I'm no ride operator, but I'm guessing the "forward buttons" are indicators, "A and B" are indicators, "Battery ok" is an indicator. As well as "E-Stop Reset." And in "route select" "A and B" are the different shows, "S" is for Service, and "M" is the maintenance route. "Dialogue Panel" once...
