I think the Starcruiser will be looked back on as the moment people truly realized just how expensive WDW as a whole had become. The extreme focus on the high price bled into other aspects of WDW. Starcruiser is $6k for two nights? You can get two nights at the Grand Floridian for $1800! $1800...

My issue with it was that right after the thing opened we immediately had FULL VIDEO everywhere of the finale. The finale NEVER CHANGED…even if you took different “paths” to get there the show was fixed and it was the show no matter which “side” you chose. Why would I spend $6k and invest...

I really hope they’re putting this info out there to judge reactions and then going back and revising based on how the public is reacting because what they’ve described sounds like hot garbage.

So as far as we all know there is one…and only one…ending to this entire experience and that ending is now completely online and available for anyone to view. So no matter what you do on board, no matter who you talk to, no matter who you help…it all ends with the same finale. Everything you do...

Could you imagine being an a small child who is SO excited to watch the finale only to not be able to see a good chunk of what’s going on and just having to stand there in the middle of a sea of adult butts? It’s kind of heartbreaking.

There are several TikToks of the rooms floating around and there’s a good reason they’ve never shown the bathrooms. They’re akin to a Motel 6 with tiny showers (no tubs for small kids) and a single sink. Absolutely crazy to think how much this costs.

I sorta get it. It's long hours in windowless rooms. DCP participants are usually there only for a semester so not only would they be enthusiastic about the job at start...but once they realize what the job is they won't go crazy because its just a few months.

People bought the AP for Disney specifically because it’s Disney. It’s an experience that the others don’t have. Now I’m sure there are some “theme park junkies” who are happy in whatever park they land in (I’m one of em) but I’d say the majority of the folks bought the pass for the Disney...

Wow. Good observation! I never considered that. I did notice on several of my trips to the park that one of the “club members” would have an access pass (occasionally a legitimate one) and the rest of the club would follow the one member right up the exit ramp and onto the ride.

Seeing the scale of the rooms with an actual humans inside them firmly confirms my self-diagnosed claustrophobia. That, and it looks to have all of the charm of a flight on Spirit airlines. I’m sure somebody will love it and be willing to pay for it.

I’d argue that Disney is the only company that uses the program correctly. Disney is fortunate enough to have developed a fan base where they can likely get full gate instead of depending on a discount program like an AP. AP programs have always been intended to get “filler” into the parks on...

Whelp. I don’t think Disney or the other guests have to worry about these anymore. The lack of AP’s are probably going to all but eliminate the majority of the clubs.
