Jessica Rabbit removed from Trunk- Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin

Even if Jessica Rabbit being tied up was meant to be appealing to people into bondage, then it would still fly completely over kids' heads, and they wouldn't think anything of it. Disney is so concerned with everything being as inoffensive as possible that all the edge will be removed from the...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

The best part about the Magic Kingdom is that they still have the Country Bears and the PeopleMover. Plus, the Space Mountain queue music is awesome. The Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland is horrible, and Seven Dwarves Mine Ride is one of the most boring rides that I have ever been on.

Jessica Rabbit removed from Trunk- Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin

I feel there will be an eventually backlash over all these PC changes at Disney Parks. It has become like Disney's idea of being progressive is to take things so ludicrously far that it feels like a parody. I consider myself a progressive, but I am strongly against censorship, and this...

Jessica Rabbit removed from Trunk- Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin

I know I am late to this thread, but this is such a weird decision in so many ways. It is like Disney is going through and changing anything that might one day be deemed "problematic" by DisTwitter. DisTwitter does not at all represent 99.9% of guests. With modern Disney's track record, we...

    All things Knotts Berry Farm

Paranormal was one of the strongest mazes this year. I loved Waxworks in 2019, but something felt lacking this year, but I enjoyed it vastly more than The Depths. I wish they had advertised the Calico Mine Ride overlay. I will be back for at least one more night this year, so I will check it...

    All things Knotts Berry Farm

I went last night, and I would say that it is an average year. I have gone every year since I moved to California in 2015, I would rank this year the lowest except maybe 2018, and that was only because I didn't like either of the new mazes that year. This is still a great event even if it is...

Are we going to be immersed as citizens of Main Street?

I think Disney purposely designs new lands without shade to increase drink sales.

    Breaking Points

I agree the parks are still fun, but the world as well as Disneyland just feels so different now.

News Disneyland Magic Key Program (all pass types will be available to purchase beginning March 5, 2024)

For those new WDW passes, I kind of understand why Sorcerer might make some sort of sense, but Pirate Pass and Incredi-Pass are hilarious. It is like Chapek's IP mandate isn't limited just to attractions, he has to tie IPs into ticket and pass names as well.

News Disneyland Magic Key Program (all pass types will be available to purchase beginning March 5, 2024)

What makes even less sense is the names for each tier, it is like they assigned random buzzwords to each key without any logical sense of progression from one key to the tier above it.

    Breaking Points

I feel like COVID helped put into perspective what is important for a lot of people including myself. While I still like Disneyland, it doesn't hold the same significance to me that it once did. There were bad changes pre-COVID, but they didn't hamper my enthusiasm for the parks that much...

News Disneyland Magic Key Program (all pass types will be available to purchase beginning March 5, 2024)

The Disney Parks are on their way to becoming parodies of themselves. It seems like Imagineering specializes in coming up with terrible names nowadays. It just makes the park feel more like a corporate monstrosity than it already is. At the rate things are going, I have to wonder how much of...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I feel much the same way, I know I am not perfect and I enjoy and purchase products made by corporations who I morally disagree with. I don't think any publicly traded company can truly be "woke" or "progressive" since their priority is always to make as much money as possible regardless of...

Rumor Avengers E-Ticket More Dead Than You'd Think

While some of the newer Marvel movies feel generic, the worst of them are still better than almost anything else Disney has put out in recent history. You won't find anything this visually interesting in any of the modern Disney or Pixar animated movies, even if we got stuff on this level with...

Rumor Avengers E-Ticket More Dead Than You'd Think

Say what you want about Marvel movies, they do have their issues, but they are far better than 99% of the rest of the movies that Disney has put out in recent years. Most modern Disney movies feel soulless and made by committee. Marvel has pretty much mastered the art of managing to make...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

One of the problems with RMCs is that I don't think the sensors for how far the bar has to go down are consistent across all seats. Sometimes I have to get stapled, and sometimes, I have a decent amount of room between me and the lap bar. That really sucked what happened with Steel Vengeance...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

I agree with all of this. As someone that is 6'4, I have had my share of close calls on rides, but I have always been able to fit except one time on Batman at Magic Mountain which prompted me to lose weight and I was able to ride it again a few months later. It could have just been a really...

Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID Test required for theme parks soon?

I'm someone that might be leaving California, not because of any COVID restrictions, but for career reasons, as I find that many tech companies outside California don't have the ridiculous hiring practices and interview processes that California seems to have, and I score way more interviews out...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

The only mazes that I am interested in at all this year are Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They have done TCM in the past, but this is the first time they have done the original movie instead of a made up sequel or remake. That said, they are probably doing this theme...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I have only done Rise twice because of Boarding Groups, and Disney has consistently lowered their standards over the years, so I was amazed at getting another attraction on the scale of the classics. Indiana Jones Adventure is the last attraction I would consider a classic, so finally getting...
