The Villas at Wilderness Lodge are beautiful. We were there Feb 2004 and loved the resort. It has become our favorite. If you are really interested in staying there you may want to consider renting points. It would far less expensive than renting from Disney directly.

I prefer WL to AKL. It is a much more homey atmosphere and is closer to the parks. I am surprised that AKL is cheaper than WL. That being said for the difference I would stay at AKL.
