No more large pizza deliveries to rooms?

No. It's against Walt Disney World Resort policy. Every resort I have stayed at (from value to deluxe to the campground) has ALWAYS required me to pick it up in the lobby.

Can someone break down the Ft.Wilderness DVC lodge addition?

The new resort, Reflections, is not a part of Ft. Wilderness. While it is usurping some of the Fort property, it is completely separate. Think Riviera/Caribbean Beach. It's not taking over all of the property, just part of Clementine Beach. Tri Circle D is moving across the street so the...

    Room security checks

Doing the random security checks at random times is intentional. They will always knock and announce themselves. However, you can always stop by the front desk and see if they can do the checks during certain time as they can make a note for housekeeping to only service the room at certain times.

    Fort Wilderness camping spots

If you call the front desk, they can call security to come aasist. Not aure how much they will actually assist though due to liability. But worth a shot to call.

Animal Kingdom Lodge & picking up rental car the night before checkout

Again, I've heard that are much stricter about waiving the fees. Probably because they think they aren't making what they should be or want to. Hence, less waived fees, and a parking price increase.

Animal Kingdom Lodge & picking up rental car the night before checkout

Try it. I can guarantee that it won't. I've heard that they are much stricter about refunding/waiving fees. As I said before, if they waive for one, then they should waive for it all. So no, it won't get waived unless you have some situation that affected your stay. Otherwise, you are...

That has either changed within the past month, or I just had a really nice bus driver that dropped me off at the outpost since that's where I was headed.

Animal Kingdom Lodge & picking up rental car the night before checkout

And the right thing would be to charge for parking as there is no extenuating circumstance that the fee should be waived. You are clearly aware of the parking policy, so it sounds like you are trying to "work the system." You are merely trying to get out of paying for one night of parking for...

Walking from Wilderness lodge to hoop dee do ?

Busses are still running but drop off at the Outpost instead of at Settlement/Pioneer Hall, which would require a transfer to the internal busses at Ft Wilderness. Boat is a better option since they drop off at Settlement/Pioneer Hall.

Animal Kingdom Lodge & picking up rental car the night before checkout

That is incorrect. There is absolutely zero guarantee that they will waive. If you get a nice CM, then they may waive it for you, but there is no guarantee. You have a car parked in the parking lot, so the parking charge WILL get posted to your account.

Animal Kingdom Lodge & picking up rental car the night before checkout

If you are renting from the Alamo Car Care Center and already have a reservation, the front desk can schedule a time for you to be picked up and take you there. And yes, you will be marked as parking a car for the night even if you don't tell the front desk.

Planning for Summer 2020 - Pop Century vs Coronado

I can guarantee that walking at a normal pace of 15 min/mile, the farthest building is no more than a 5 minute walk. i have walked it many times and it never took more than 8 minutes at the most to reach the bus stops. The busses at both have pros and cons from a strictly resort perspective ...
