    Darth Maul/Kid Incident - SWW '09

I have to disagree with the notion that "Disney asked for this". I would imagine that if the crowd control castmember had asked the mother to keep the child back she would have either argued, ignored or perhaps control him for a short while and then let him go again. It all comes down to...

    Darth Maul/Kid Incident - SWW '09

I giggled a little when I read this... I agree that it is the parents who allowed this to happen to their child by not setting boundries on behavior. I understand this child has special needs however, this is even more reason to keep him under control.

    Redeeming Give A Day vouchers.

Thanks, I figured as much. Is there no one who has redeemed them yet? We will be there in March for just one day before driving to Port Canaveral for a cruise so the whole free day promo was perfect for us. Just printed of our vouchers yesterday and we are all excited!

    Redeeming Give A Day vouchers.

Hello, I was just wondering whether or not anyone has had the opportunity to use their vouchers yet? I have looked at the FAQ's on the website and cannot find where it tells us to go to redeem them for tickets. I assume it would be at the guest relations booth outside of whichever park you...

give a day get a day is crap

So encouraging people to give their time to volunteerism in order to receive a free ticket to a Disney theme park is the wrong way to get people to help others? The way I see it is that this is not for those wonderful people who already volunteer on a regular basis(although it is a great way...

Do you have a hard time staying at a new resort?

We have our favorites(Coronado Springs and Poly)but, we do like to stay at different places. You are doing it right by staying for a couple of days at the different hotel. It is a nice way to experience a new place while still spending the bulk of your time at your comfortable favorite!

    Illinois to Disney driving questions

I live in Nashville. We drive down I-24E to Chattanooga then I-75 to Florida Turnpike to WDW. It takes approximately 10 or 11 hours. We just recently vacationed in Navarre Beach which is right next to Pensacola. It took us around 8 hours to get there. I-10 is about 30 minutes North of...

    Boat between WL and Contemporary?

This has been our experience as well. My only other observation would be that we are usually there in non summer/non high volume times so I would imagine that the system changes according to guest volume.

Best Places to Eat in Disney World.

Absolutely agree! One of the best kept secrets of the MK! We eat there every trip. The views of the castle are great.

    Dining Plan:Appetizers for Desserts?

Oh well...glad I asked here first. We do like desserts but usually share one or two for the four of us when we do get one. A dessert for each of us just seems so excessive!! Thanks for the info...glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way!

    Dining Plan:Appetizers for Desserts?

Hello. After 10 or more trips to Disney without using the Meal Plan we are trying it out this year. My question is this...How strict are they about Table Service? We are not particularly dessert people and I was wondering if it would be allowed to trade one or two desserts for an appetizer...

Anyone over 35 with a good memory

The only memory I can contribute is a fuzzy one from my visit in 1977. My best friend's family took me with them on their WDW vacation and I have a vague memory of being in Liberty Square and being approached by a cast member to participate in some sort of flag ceremony. My friend and I...

    Coronado Springs name change???

It would be my guess that perhaps there might be a new CS logo featuring the three caballeros coming out? This makes some sense because of their(the 3 caballeros) presence in some of the CS gift shop merchandise already. Maybe either the CM was confused by what she was told or the OP was...

    Fantastic idea or realistically unfeasible?

Since your MIL doesn't seem to care about the scarier thrill rides why not try to balance them in during the day while she stays with the kids? At that age they will need a juice/snack break anyway so take that time to plan on going on a coaster. The kids won't even notice. If you want to...
