I will start by stating I don't have special affinity for fort wilderness. Any review of the placement of this resort would conclude that Disney management could care less about Fort wilderness. It is so intrusive to the feel and theme of Pioneer hall . and the rest of Fort wilderness. Disney...

But the values like Pop have 3 pools. This mix of rooms are larger with more guests per room. Every cabin at the fort is a 2 bedroom. Then the Lodge mix of cabins and 1 , 2 bedroom dvc rooms. The lazy river will be a large draw. It will be easily as mobbed as stormalong bay or worse.

Pool looks great . But think about almost 1400 rooms having access between the Lodge and cabins. Scary crowds.

Nov 24th concept art , has the theater intact with a new show. Shown on WDW magic. Now what they actually build who knows.

I have read( or saw on you tube) that muppets theater will be replaced with a new show. So the door coaster a least will be new capacity.

I was considering buying points at Lakeshore. But with the low number of dedicated 2 bedrooms , I am now doubtful. The 91 lockouts will mostly be broken up. This will be a 11-1O month window resort for 2 bedrooms.

Room totals and distance to the Fort makes me feel the pool will be a zoo.

These numbers make the resort even more of a departure from recent practice and common belief that they are having problems filling deluxe rooms without large discounts. I am surprised the whole resort isn't DVC. Very curious .

I surprised they are adding 450 (guess) deluxe cash rooms. This seems contrary to the DVC conversions at wilderness lodge and the Grand. It seems the large quick profits on the DVC conversions were more the motivation than the often surmised problem of selling Deluxe rooms nights.

Probably not firmly in either category. It was a tear down of 250 rooms , with a new tower with 295 substantially larger rooms.

I think your definition of "New" construction is a bit loose. Bay Lake was new construction in my opinion.

When there is more to do/ride in a park, doesn't that increase the value for money paid?

Another vote for Artist Point. We have done this 2 times and it has been a really good experience for the whole family.

I will really miss Jelly Rolls. This was a part of our park trip 4 -5 year since it opened. Many fun nights/memories. Don't understand why they don't see the need for more evening adult entertainment not less.

Dues are over 20K and Initiation is over 50K.

But doesn't Disney want you buying merch and food and drinks vs in line?
