Shouldn't Storybook Circus be its own land and not part of Fantasyland?

I agree that DCA & DHS are in need of more attractions, however I feel Mickey is most associated with the castle parks. That's why Toontown's removal from the MK was such a loss. We lost his and Minnie's home. A lot of ppl come to the MK wanting to see them & where they live. The average guest...

Shouldn't Storybook Circus be its own land and not part of Fantasyland?

100% this!! I have always said MMRR would have been a much better fit at MK than DHS. I think California got it right placing their version in DL.

    More Fantasyland dark rides

I totally agree that the PFH's space could be better utilized as a dark ride. I've said before a Sleeping Beauty attraction ending with the battle of Maleficent and the Prince would be great. Cinderella would be another great fit. Remodel the entrance to look like her Chateau, which would look...

The Forgotten Beaches of Seven Seas Lagoon

Bay Lake isn't new, it's a natural lake. It was there before WDW. Seven Seas lagoon is the man made portion. And you're right once alligators were added to the endangered species list in the late 70's, their populations rebounded.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Was a Mistake

I so agree about the MK being more of a half day park for me as well. It does have more attractions than the other 3 but it could have more. Compared to DL which has more on less acreage. Also DL has rides that are no longer at the MK with some that are exclusive in the US, like Alice, Casey Jr...

    News Tomorrowland love

Me too!! Even though it's a clone, let MK have it and create something different for California. DL already has more unique/and overall attractions than the MK anyway.

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

I still say Moana would be better served with a volcano themed coaster in Adventureland. A volcano rising up behind POTC and JC would make for some great views from in the park and from across the Seven Seas lagoon.

News Peter Pan's Flight exterior refurbishment - 2021

I like your ideas, however IASW to me is a castle park attraction. Similar to Space Mountain, POTC or HM. Guests have come to expect and closely associate these attractions with the castle parks. I know I do. True, on paper IASW could work at Epcot but I feel its so ingrained in the guest's...

    What should HS's icon be?

The Earffel Tower will always be it for me but since it no longer exist...the Chinese Theatre. It just says Disney MGM/Hollywood Studios to me.

News Peter Pan's Flight exterior refurbishment - 2021

I think TDO reasoning for not giving PPF a complete Bavarian facade redo is because it's within the castle walls and there is suppose to be a royal fair going on. I.E. the cheap way out. I'm sure there is a way to incorporate a fully fleshed out Bavarian themed facade for PPF, IASW, and MP...

    POTC queue music

Me too. And seeing the ship off in the distance is cool. Though its often overlooked especically if you board from the opposite side. Our fill-in for the Blue Bayou. But when you think about the entire queue/facade is a replacement for the Blue Bayou.

    Discovery River Boats

Heard that some of the former boats are used on the Hotel shuttle boat routes..particularly from the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom.

    POTC queue music

I can't be the only one that remembers when you could hear pirates whispering about an attack on the fort in the queue. It was light whispers and metal clinging and banging.

    The Splash Mountain Appreciation Thread

I remember waiting 2 hours to ride Splash in Dec '92. I was so excited because it was new and something from the coveted DL that was brought to FL. I used to write WDW and they would send me brochures and promotional material. I would study and read the guidebooks/literature multiple times. The...

    COVID Spiel at Disney

Does it alternate between a man's and woman's voice like it does at the parks? I haven't been to my local Disney Store but I'm planning a future visit.

Disney Attractions Inspired By Other Theme Parks

So true..It is a great ride with interesting storytelling. It's said to have inspired Tony Baxter when it was Tales of the Okefonokee. Yes, it closed in 1980 but by that time he had ridden it several times. It's still a popular ride at the park.

Who Wants A Legend Of Sleepy Hollow Dark Ride?!

Kinda wish Pinocchio and Alice could have made the cut. More dark rides is always a plus. Would Alice have been near the Chesire Cafe and Pinocchio near his restuarant?

Mini Disney World - Fan-Made Model

Impressive...love theme park models. It's nice to find other fans into models and not just trading pins! I have a few models I'm working on myself.

Liberty Square Riverboat And The Lone Smokestack

How about a Sailing Ship Columbia type boat similar to DL. It would round out Liberty Square and tie in with the restaurant etc. Don't you think??

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

And that is fine but as Disney purists/hardcore fans, a lot of us are thinking literally when it comes to Splash Mountain placement. The Imagineers will find a way to make a PatF themed Mountain fit. It's not that serious. We need to lighten up, its a theme park flume ride.
