    “Something major” coming to DHS???

I think they are saving their super heroes for a fifth gate (ie. Marvel + Incredibles & Big Hero Six). I think a "Heroes and Villains" park would be a great 5th gate. I think the villains talk at MK is a decoy for something else they have planned to gauge interest.

Big River Grille and Brewing Works to close at Walt Disney World

It would be a great spot with the boardwalk theme for a locally-owned 4 Rivers BBQ that already has the 4R Cantina food truck at Disney Springs with a different menu - https://www.4rsmokehouse.com/

News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

Watched the WDWMagic 4K video and this is a much better show than ROE. Stating that, I agree with the posts that state that the ROE musical score was hard to beat and that seems to be the main issue with any faults of the latest shows. Stating all that, I think that Disney should strongly...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

This area was a lot more crowded during the day on June 21st. It may have been related to Juneteenth on Monday, June 19th that is now a three-day holiday weekend for many now. Peoplemover had a 25 minute wait around this time on the 21st.

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Most of the standby lines we waited in last week were close to what was posted during peak hours and Avatar early-entry. The wait times were off towards the end of extended hours (ie. 7D was 20 minutes when it was posted at 45 minutes) and right after a rain storm closure but I feel that is...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

From my standpoint being there for seven days last week, Disney did not appear to have any kind of attendance issues at the parks. Maybe they are no longer getting the post-Covid revenge travel and they are discounting again, but they were very busy. I agree with many others here that Disney...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Just finishing my final day of six nights at Disney visiting any of the parks for the first time during normal operating hours(I have done a couple of MK After Hours) in 10 years and the crowds seemed to be what I remember 10 years ago. Using G+ at all four parks, we were able to ride all of the...

Side question: How long do you typically have to wait using the virtual queue once your bg has been called? Trying to decide between VQ and ILL for an upcoming trip.

I’m a local and don’t have SeaWorld passes but I will say that the SeaWorld new standup Surf Coaster has more interest locally than Tron.

At Aquatica today and it is packed. All cabanas and lounger upgrades are sold out. Had to park in overflow parking. I wish Disney would have both water parks open and had annual passes available. We would get them once our Aquatica passes expire.

Going to AK, HS, and Epcot with the family for the first time in nine years next month in addition to MK so there will be a lot of new things for us to do. Happy about the new Florida four-day pass. My thought is that it is a combination of all the tech layoffs going on as well as Tron isn’t an...

    RnRc Retheme?

Aerosmith just announced their farewell tour so you have to assume Disney will keep them around the next year surrounding the hype of that but then probably time to switch it out: https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/wireStory/aerosmith-announces-farewell-tour-starting-september-98980632

News Star Tours to be updated with new adventures in 2024 at Walt Disney World

With all the new Star Wars content coming out, I can see Muppets and Sci-Fi turning into SW expansion plots, like Universal is doing with HP, and Star Tours will eventually be fully connected with GE. Maybe Muppets can get their own land and ride at that 5th gate?

New Cirque du Soleil 'Drawn to Life' show in development to replace La Nouba

Replying to my own thread from last year, I just saw a much different advertisement for the show for the Florida resident discount that makes it look a lot more enticing to go with a juggler and Cinderella flying trapeze artists. Looks like a good show now that I am guessing includes some of the...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

They should keep splash and also build out a new section for Tianas flume ride that has lower height restrictions so that younger kids can ride it. A flume ride in the thrill category of mine train. It can still be an E-ticket with theming and scale and will still send the same message that...
