At that point it would make more sense to make new floats. MSEP uses a string light approach, PTN does not use string lights, very different theme & technology.

It looked like they redid the drum section of the float but not the locomotive that goofy drives.

There must've been some damages during transport because the Mickey unit & some of the spinning ones look in worse shape now than its ever been at WDW. From the sounds of what wdwmagic and few others said, it sounds like a new parade is more likely than MSEP.

I think they got rid of it after Wonderous journeys ended last year. No snoap during the show anymore.

The floats already sit in the rain if the parade starts staging they just leave it out, often during the summer you can the floats wet if it stopped raining around parade time.

They could just go from Frontierland to MS at 12 and return back from MS to Frontierland at 3 similar to how Disneyland does it.

A after hours with Illuminations using Luminous equipment without the fire or globe would sell it out but of course they won't do that.

I doubt it will be that extensive, they'll probably redo some signs and repaint some things, maybe retouch one or two facades.
