    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I recall Len saying something like 300 slots per hour - but with LLPP you don't know when people will come (same as VIP tours, child swap, etc)

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I am not aware of anything but I am sure in their systems it shows up differently so they can track it To me the big thing is the total number of slots they allocate for LL access - be it via DAS, LLMP, LLPP, VIP, etc ... as long as that total stays static and they are just divvying it up...

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

They definitely need to be careful to not oversell LLPP - and really not oversell access to LL via all methods. It's one thing when FP+ was included and you sometimes had to wait 20-30 mins in the FP line ... But when you are charging as much as $450 extra per person, while it isn't a true walk...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

for a true, live stage show, you would need a lot of backstage area and just more depth to the space, which I have no idea if the building has that room Definitely think the term "theater show" is being used very broadly as just being some sort of show that takes place in a theater building -...

News MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

The studios used to be much more about the making of movies and TV - it is now about putting you into the worlds that film and television have created and enabling you to have your own adventures in those worlds. So instead of the making of Star Wars, it is putting you in the world of Star Wars...

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

My youngest's favorite two rides are Space Mountain and Rock N Rollercoaster - she is 10 now but loved them both since as soon as she was tall enough to ride (about 6 years old or so). So guess it depends on what you mean by "children" That said, this isn't as accessible to all people (young...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

We did Muppet*Vision most (but not all) trips but never ate a Mama Melrose or PizzaRizzo .... but I showed the plans to my kids and the first thing my son said is "we have to eat at Harryhausens!" - definitely think there will be increased interest in the entire area for the majority of the...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

appreciate your post and largely aligns with my view - in some ways we were lucky MV3D lasted as long as it did and at least there will still be a Muppet presence in the parks. So I would say, this is the best *realistic* possible option - but also a little dependent on what happens to MV3D...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Maybe that is an upcharge to the regular party if you want to get into that area and it is about more adult/scary (more Oogie Boogie than HHN though)

News “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

Not a game changing amount but something. At least initially there could be more interest though and also result in more people waiting in line for the next show (or even show after that)

News “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

right, it wouldn't be a "capacity" increase but it likely would be a "actual number of people who are experiencing this and thus not on line/doing something else" increase

News “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

Our trip a few weeks ago I made sure to see ITTBAB knowing it was going away. It was the first time my kids did it, first time for me in years They enjoyed ITTBAB but felt basically a "one and done" and they have much more excitement for Zootopia so should be a bit more of a draw and make it a...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

It's an interesting thought that maybe they are ok cannibalizing a percentage of the VIP tours if they are able to "plus" them, make them feel even more exclusive and then increase the price. If they loss 20% of the number of VIP tours but increase the cost of the remaining 80% by 25% they are...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

That is surprising considering you can prebook 3 so people aren't even using their prebooked ones and to such a degree it overcompensates for the people getting way more than that? (Like we got 7 and 11 the two days we used it) Or are you including G+ in that?

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I know that was what Disney marketed for G+, but is that the case for LLMP? I mean you can prebook 3 rides so figure that is the minimum for anyone so the average would be more than that Anecdotally I used LLMP at DHS and got 7 uses out of it and at MK and got 11 and wasn't really trying hard...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Depends what they are marketing this as. If it is more a perk of staying in the high priced rooms (that would also then go up in cost) then I think it needs to be something that isn't crazy priced and then still get more total $ as demand for those rooms goes up If just on it's own then it...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Well, the data breach showed a file that indicated Disney made $724m from genie+ at WDW, so if they get rid of a paid skip the line that has to come from another revenue source Plus I think there is a portion of the guest population that wants/demand some sort of skip the line so I just don't...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

But that is why I said it would only be available to select guests, so you already have to be paying for a club level room at a deluxe resort before you are even able to spend the $200/day in my scenario If it is open to everyon I agree it will need to be higher, probably like as much as...
