The platform would be a good idea...Unfortunately there is no further additions like this 1n the plans at all . Here is 1 more nugget to contemplate. Only two 52 year old small elevators in the Poly lobby .

Peak times back up of the monorail ....I shudder to think what will happen when the new DVC atrocity opens. No transportation will be provided from the tower. So EVERYONE of the hundreds staying there will overwhelm the Poly system. Congrats Disney...You are ruining 1 of the most beloved resorts...

It was shared by a Cast Member at DVC who is a family friend and has been for years. This took place last Sept. and as I stated before I didn't pay it much mind. Frankly I told her I doubt they would tear down the building.

I believe if you check my history posting on the Poly I posted the DVC tower and location well before it was made public . I stand by this rumor also. I am far from the best source on this but once and a while I get a nugget.

I heard this rumor while on Vacation at the Poly last September. The cast member building adjacent to Tokelau and the Oasis pool being torn down , with the dinner show replacing it. I didnt pay it much thought but it appears to be a rumor that is gaining speed. Thoughts?

I have a better perk idea . Instead of a useless PR perk such as the water park how about bringing back the street performers as well as improving the state of cleanliness in all the parks??? Sounds like a decent long range perk too me.

Unfortunately this is all true...Tack on the new DVC concrete tower and that will make the Lobby-Pools-resteraunt's and transportation overwhelmed. All this with one 50 year old elevator in the Lobby. It has already been announced the new tower will have NO transportation. None...Zip. Brilliant !!!

Polynesian Resort at night is absolutely beautiful. Torches lit up-Lapu Lapu in my hand . From the Beach thru all the resort walkways.

Is the Disney company so inept that they cant even have a cake shop built in under 1 year ? I understand the complexity of taking 5 years to build an extremely complex attraction such as Journey of water ( Takes years to pour out the water and see where it goes ) but I draw the line at delaying...
