Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

I really fail to understand how there is such a huge demand for something that is basically window shopping. If anything screams "just view it on youtube" this is it.

News Florida Division of Emergency Management warns against dangerously hot and humid conditions at Walt Disney World this week

I'm really surprised that when it gets this hot that Disney doesn't setup free water carts throughout the park. The cost would be negligible compared to the good will and health benefits. There is no reason they can't have carts setup giving out free bottles of water or even have every cast...

New holiday season room offer at Disney World for Disney+ subscribers

So this discount is room rate only right. So park tickets have to be booked separately?

Orlando Becoming East Coast Headquarters for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products

I hate to say it but those that moved from CA to FL probably did it more for the political environment in FL compared to CA and because it is something they believe in more than the Disney or job aspect. No one just ups and moves all the way across the country for cost of living issues before a...

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

Sure it is, California, Hawaii, DC and Massachusetts are the most expensive states to live in. Any time you lookup why people are leaving CA the number one reason is always housing costs not politics and not policies. It may be what you FEEL is the reason but its not.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I haven't been back in post pandemic times so i only have pre-pandemic to pull from and we never had a wait. So I guess the right answer is it depends.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Is there ever a wait for this? Every time we have gone to see Ariel it has been very quick.

Disney Parks office-based employees begin returning to work locations

If they had 900+ people who were not productive that is a problem with their hiring process and/or not enough work to do (aka over-hiring) not remote work.

Disney Parks office-based employees begin returning to work locations

You don't have much respect for your employees then. I would hate to work for you. Just simply the way you said the above proves you have ZERO respect for those that work for you or for remote employees. You are stuck in your ways and refuse to grow. 4 quick reasons employees like remote work...

Disney Parks office-based employees begin returning to work locations

Most of the culling is not highly experienced engineers. Its recruiting, HR, etc. Anyone that says remote work doesn't work doesn't know how to do it or is trying to save their management job because they don't know how to do it.

News Disney reminds guests to behave at Walt Disney World or be asked to leave

Wording should be stronger. They should have said "will be escorted out", not "may be asked to leave"

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

What cracks me up about these threads is that you all still continue to go and then complain about it. Either vote with your wallet or stop whining. We continue to go because its fun. I would love for massive amounts of people to stop going, it would be great for those of us that continue, but...

Family of 4 but kids don't want to sleep in same bed

Yeah air mattresses are not an option, if we are flying they weigh too much. But I think we will be taking the autotrain from Virginia for this trip so that might actually be an option this time since we will have our car. I actually wish disney had more options with bunk beds.

Family of 4 but kids don't want to sleep in same bed

This is actually really helpful. My kids are little and will be 13 and 9 when our trip comes next year so the 9 year old could easily handle that sofa bed it looks like if your 2 teenage boys dealt with it.

Family of 4 but kids don't want to sleep in same bed

Yes there is. There is a queen and a pull down full sized bed and a full sized sofa bed. It will work if the sofa bed isn't horrible. We can put the smaller kid on the sofa bed. But I don't know how good the sofa beds are. We stayed there right before pandemic and they shared the pull down bed...

Family of 4 but kids don't want to sleep in same bed

Ugh so many visits to WDW, here is my dilemma now. Planning a trip for 2023. My tween and younger kid don't like sleeping in the same bed. They want to stay at AoA. How comfy is the sofa beds? Are they like normal sofa beds, floppy and metal bars underneath the thin "mattress"? Cost is too high...

News Walt Disney World says goodbye to the final remnants of its COVID-19 safety protocols

The sanitizer isn't for them its for those of us that do wash our hands but you can't just run to the bathroom after every ride, its not practical but it is extremely simple to have these outside each ride and each restaurant or in strategic locations. This is really a no brainer. Offices have...

News Walt Disney World says goodbye to the final remnants of its COVID-19 safety protocols

Ok thats fine for those that actually do, but there are TONS of people that don't. And then they touch the doors, chains, safety bars, drink machines, etc, etc, etc. The disinfecting pumps and wiping stuff down more often is actually a really good thing that should have been done more to start...

COVID testing requirement for air travelers arriving in the United States is set to end June 2022

Disney doesn't NEED a boost of any kind! They are already horribly busy, this will just make things worse for them and those that want to visit the parks seeing as how they seem to have staff shortages this will make it even more of a nightmare for everyone when the floodgates open fully. Makes...
