News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

If Disney announced a purpose-built Muppets attraction, no one’s mind would go to “most intense coaster on Disney property.” That’s my problem with this. The IP does not match the ride system.

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

It does make you wonder if they would in turn limit the sales of LLMP. Surely they have some sort of formula built into the programming… a ratio of MP and PP for total sales.

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I would actually find an offer like this appealing if, for example, I was going to Tokyo Disney, and I knew I would never be returning. So maybe the true is the same in reverse. But that being said, it’s a shame the price doesn’t include the park hopper, because realistically you could finish...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

At this point I do not believe the yearly maintenance refurb will happen. Credit where credit is due, they have done a great job improving this ride’s reliability. It seems like any downtime at this point is solely due to weather.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I’m willing to let the “no animals” slide only because it sounded like an either/or scenario. It’s important for this (and every) park to have a themed playground IMO. There’s really no where else you could put one without taking another attraction offline or reconfiguring backstage roads...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I’m curious if they’ll re-theme the area outside the land’s boundaries or leave it generic looking. (When walking into Dinoland from Discovery Island, the walkway to your left, before the Boneyard, running along the amphitheater’s edge, past the Theatre in the Wild and to the bridge to Asia)

News Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

If the crane is placed in the staging area opposite the railroad tracks, can they keep the railroad open?

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

What I hope for is two major E-ticket rides: an immersive dark ride on the scale of Pirates, Mansion, or Rise and a high-thrill coaster—with a thrill level that compares to or exceeds RnRC or Everest. Magic Kingdom is perceived by much of the public as Orlando’s “kiddy” or “family”...

    D23 Brazil

I don’t think anything new will be announced beyond the possibility of South American cruises. We may get a few updates/further details on existing projects.

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I guess I’m confused why they felt the need to rip everything up if all they’re going to do is install a canopy… they are installing a canopy, right??

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I think people would still complain about the plot being too simplistic, but at least in the lost trumpet hypothetical, Naveen and other human characters could have been better incorporated. The problem is that the ride system was inherently built to accommodate a moment of tension, something...

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

Classic AI-generated content. Notice how the talking points are numbered and the language doesn’t follow Disney’s style guide (e.g. “park” instead of “land,” “visitors” instead of “guests”).

News Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

I think for WDW it makes more sense to refurbish only up to 2 attractions resort-wide at any given time. If the parks had more ride capacity (specifically DHS and DAK), then what you were saying would certainly make sense… but one ride per park would definitely make me postpone a trip.

Rumor Disney resort of some kind in Texas?

I don’t really agree with the rationale, but my theory is that Disney is very keen on ensuring MK remains the #1 most visited theme park worldwide for generations to come. Universal Japan trails MK by about 1.7 million. That seems like a lot of people, but it’s only about 5,000 extra people a...

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind vs Radiator Springs Racers

Cosmic Rewind definitely takes it for me. The ride experience not only more thrilling than RSR, but it is also more fun. The music and the motion of the ride are unmatched. RSR obviously has better theming and storytelling, but the fact that it goes even slower than Test Track was a bit of a...

Rumor Disney resort of some kind in Texas?

Looking at Disney’s history, I feel that any regional-style experience just wouldn’t fit in with the company’s mantra. Consider Disney Quest. Yes, it was done on a budget, but that didn’t get too far. Disney Stores themselves have largely closed. Rumored Australia projects never made it off the...
