News New Disney World summer 2024 ticket offers include 3-Day, 3-Park for $89 per day

Just to keep things honest here, Universal constantly runs 2 for 5 days ticket promotions throughout the year as well. There could be predicted overall softness for Orlando theme parks as a whole this summer.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

Difference between Disney and Uni right now is that its not lip service from Uni. Iger says we could, we might, blah blah blah. Uni is actually building something wonderful right now in their backyard. This isn't a good look to be constantly talking about something for years without producing much.

News Evermore Orlando Resort - new billion-dollar, 10,000-room resort project is coming right next to Walt Disney World

Agree on many of your points for sure. I do remember reading that the villas portion of the resort was really trying to grab that family of 4 and up demo looking to stay for over a week, which would in theory give you time at the parks and the resort itself. Not sure what the prices are but I...

News Evermore Orlando Resort - new billion-dollar, 10,000-room resort project is coming right next to Walt Disney World

I think the idea was that it could be the perk that drives people to Orlando if they are looking to do theme parks, but also a beach like resort. While nothing compares to the real deal, this resort really has everything; golf, tennis, proximity to theme parks, the lagoon/beach, a good number of...

News Evermore Orlando Resort - new billion-dollar, 10,000-room resort project is coming right next to Walt Disney World

Been reading that the Conrad is having some issues but would assume they are just new and will work them out.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

Don't you just love when things are judged before completed, not sure why the human brain works that way but it certainly does for Disney projects That said, this thing is starting to look like hot garbage ;)

    Rumors. Musings. Casual.

Sure thing. I’ve stayed here about 4 times and have nothing terrible to say about it. There are a few cons and l’ve listed them here: Pros: Can use Bonvoy Points Walkable to HS and Epcot/Boardwalk Clean/fresh and only a few years old Amare is a gem, absolutely love their food Can utilize the...

    Rumors. Musings. Casual.

Its tough to justify that for sure. We tend to find deals and work around the dates that have the best ones. For now I'll be using some Marriott points to stay at the Swan Reserve, its really strange but less points then the Dolphin or Swan for the dates we are looking at. 210,000 for 5 nights...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Not sure what the final product will be but have to give credit where its due, 18 months is a heck of a lot better then most recent trends, granted they didn't move much structurally of course.

News Disney hints at more changes to come at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

It appears to be dead, not a whole lot of passion, but if you were an imagineer, how passionate could you be when you're essentially nurtured?

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Looking at rack rates are a different story but if you look at the rooms with the current discount that everyone qualifies for, Beach Club is $375/Night, Boardwalk $383/night right now (looking at a week in July) and the Swolphin resorts are (refundable rates) Dolphin $353/Night, Swan...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

The Grand Destino tower has become our go to if we aren't splurging on our trip. While the location of the Crescent Lake resorts/Swolphin resorts can't be beat and I do miss that, the price is just that much better when on discount at CS. $275/ night vs. $430/night is just a no brainer for my...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Swolphin used to be my go to, but looking in September, the Swan Reserve is the same price as the Yacht Club and Boardwalk. The Dolphin however can be found for a bit cheaper however.

    D23 Epcot Forever Poster Series

Hello all! I’m looking to sell my original series serigraph’s unfortunately. Not looking to profit, just get what I paid for them. I’ll miss parting with them but figured there are a few folks who might be wanting to add to their collection. Here are the serigraph collections I have. PM if...

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Unfortunately the closing for Big River is due to their whole operation shuttering. The Chattanooga location shuttered in October, their original brewery. You'd think, they can just use the same footprint, remove the brewing equipment for more seating, and retain most of what is there and use...

News Disney plans to reboot Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios

But its a narrative that continually slips or changes, I'd hardly call that control. If I'm a head honcho, I think I'd let people speculate all they want, it drives more excitement and mystique.

News Disney plans to reboot Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios

They have had 3 years to work on this new show, why announce this now? Why not just work on it, and announce when its within a few months. Just never understood their announcement cadence.

Disney Legend Dick Nunis has passed at 91

100% agree, although his methods may not be accepted now, he is without a doubt one of the best that "got it done" when deadlines were approaching.
