Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

For my 2 cents (and that's what it is worth, lol), I thought the animals in Mufasa in the trailers looked "off", just all wrong for some reason I can't put my finger on. I kept looking at them and wondering what is wrong? They just dont' look "right" to me.

    Prices up…profits down…

Some times but then fast pass came into use. There was still standby with fast pass. But our kids and us were at WDW when there was none of that. It worked very well to wait in lines, because everyone else did the same thing. No line cutters or angry people. I doubt if that can happen now...

    Prices up…profits down…

I agree with you. We visited when everyone was equal. We all waited in line. What did we do? We visited with people who wanted to talk, or played games with the kids. The lines always were moving and it didn't seem like you were trapped in one area for a long time. They moved constantly...

Wow, a blast from the past, LOL. Yes, we did order the free vacation tapes. I don't know about the flyers for the records or BMG. I wish I had kept those tapes, but they are gone with the wind........

I'm with you on this. Our grandkids all went to DisneyWorld when they were younger, but now they go to other places, Universal, National parks, things like that. Disney is not even mentioned. The Disney Co. has lost sight of this fact. For example, I didn't see any disney related Halloween...

Universal's food is still pretty bad

I guess it depends when you go to these restaurants at Universal. We went to Minions cafe early November and we waited about an hour for our food, just sandwiches, and it was only barely warm. We would have left but we were tired and thought the food might show up sometime in the future. The...

NFL 2024 Season Discussion Thread (Current Champs: Kansas City Chiefs)

Does anyone know how the Jets lineman is doing? He got carried off the field and we have heard nothing more about it. I hope he is doing okay and it's nothing permanent.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

Yes, but figuring in the cost of feeding a growing teenager or young man will change that budget a lot, LOL! We couldn't keep our teenager grandson's full most of the time, and that's with feeding them twice what the others ate!

Right, and you should take into account that there have been multiple attraction breakdowns, which would aggravate the situation.

    Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I'm afraid that people are just going to jack up their credit cards that they can't afford and increase the national credit card debt. I can see it now. "We're paying so much already honey, lets just add it to the CC and pay sometime in the future".

Is Food Plan worth the cost?

When it first came out quite a while ago, it was a great value and we did it once. Since then, for the 2 of us, it wouldn't work out. We don't like to schedule daily reservations, and tend not to eat as much and at different hours. We like to play it by ear that way. Some days, we just get...

Favorite Songs: 1960's & all the way 'til Today

No. I had a concert booked in Minneapolis, but I had emergency surgery and couldn't make it. I've been mad about that ever since, LOl. He hasn't come back to Mn. since then, but I would love to go to a concert.

Thanks for posting that. I absolutely love Josh Groban and have been a fan since he first started out, quite a while now. I think he has one of the most amazing voices that there is.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I think this was way back before fast pass was even invented. There was nothing to skip lines with back then. There was no other option but to wait in line, and they were always moving, sometimes slower than others, but constant.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I remember that time, John PH. We waited in line With Everyone Else,, and the lines constantly moved. If a line was too long for us to wait, we just went on to another line. It was more equal for everyone back then. You paid the entrance fee and all else was free. Imagine that. I think...
