The last time I used it (ages ago) with the Card it is a magnetic strip that is read by a reader in a persons hand. They "could" change it over to RFID in the future but for now it works. From what I heard at IAAPA, disney is interested but is thinking of waiting for their tech to be fully tested with the freestyle machines first... then slowly phase freestyle into resorts. In other news universal is phasing freestyle into their parks... possibly with the attachment installed.
