Thoughts on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Since MK isn't thrill-ride heavy, I'm curious what your top 5 FP options would be. I'd definitely take RNRC or Everest over SDMT, but what's in MK that would be higher priority for you?

    Making FPs on a Tuesday?

    This is kind of brilliant.

What the heck is Dinoland U.S.A?

I'm most certainly in the minority, but I found Dinoland to be charming, whimsical, and overall fun. I particularly enjoy the character M&Gs, being a big fan of all things duck. I did know the backstory prior to going and also had low expectations based on these forums. It's certainly not TSL or...

    Making FPs on a Tuesday?

This link checks for parties of 2 and 4, so you can know what to expect for FP+ availability. Was accurate for me and helped my planning. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=efd9c02189f278aebb177d878cccae20&p=10123554#post10123554

News 'Disney After Hours' ticketed event

I've never done one - on principle. If I ever do try it, it will be INSTEAD of buying a regular pass. So if I'm ever in town for a couple of days maybe I'll buy a night pass for MK instead of buying an all-day pass to the parks. (Gone are the days where I always have an Annual Pass :(.) We...

SC boy, 6, uses Disney World money to help hurricane evacuees

The kid, I agree. The parents are where I would question it. I'm clearly cynical as well, but ultimately I'm glad it went how it did. It cost Disney nothing, it is great PR for them, if the kid and his parents were sincere, then what a great way to repay the kindness. At the very worst, some...

SC boy, 6, uses Disney World money to help hurricane evacuees

I used to enjoy the feel-good stories, but the problem is that giving up the money to help someone is a feel-good because of the sacrifice. The question remains: would this kid have voluntarily given it up knowing he would really have to sacrifice and not get the accolades and rewards? Being...

What resort do you think you'll never stay at?

Real World: I've only stayed at Pop and really only Pop and All Star Movies are on my radar. Cost will prohibit me from staying at any others for the foreseeable future. I'd rather do 8 or 9 days in a value than 4 or 5 in a moderate, since I'm there for the parks and the room is a place to stay...

    Fastpass tiers

When they initially announced the new HS tiers, there was some talk on the boards that it might be a temporary thing for crowd management. Once SWGE had both attractions open and crowds began to even out again across parks, management may "re-tier" the park and send RNR and/or EE back to tier 2...

    "One And Done" Attractions

Agree on the Three Caballeros. It's so "Disney charming" and extends that awesome vibe of the Mexico pavilion. Disagree on Frozen. I loved it!

The good ride inside it can be found on the other coast.

    Poly Construction

Hello all! We have our first WDW trip coming up next week and we have an ADR at Ohana. The plan was to have dinner, then head out to the beach to watch fireworks. A friend of mine just booked the Poly and mentioned that there's construction and the beach may be inaccessible. Does anyone know the...

News Disney to offer discount on new MagicBand designs as an optional alternative to complimentary solid color MagicBands

I completed it last week. I got repeated error messages, so I decided to try customer service. While I was on hold, I kept trying and then suddenly it processed. Correct bands showed up a few days later. It's stupid how lucky I feel, considering the circumstances.

Awwww. Donald is back! That's the one I wanted, but Sorcerer Mickey is a pretty great too.

News Disney to offer discount on new MagicBand designs as an optional alternative to complimentary solid color MagicBands

I had chosen solid ones and was a day past my 30 day "deadline" and it still allowed me to edit and upgrade.

News Disney to offer discount on new MagicBand designs as an optional alternative to complimentary solid color MagicBands

Hooray! Our top picks (Donald & ) was not among the new stock, but Sorcerer Mickey will have to work. Got them ordered! I did too. After several attempts I finally got it. Keep trying!

News Disney to offer discount on new MagicBand designs as an optional alternative to complimentary solid color MagicBands

Thanks for the update. It appears they also changed the layout, at least on mobile. Categories gone. This summer will be my first WDW trip and I'm a little confused on this 11 days business. My deadline showed as 30 days - which is today. If they restock and I'm still 11+ days out, can I order...

    Uber to Contemporary

This is actually why I posed the question. I wasn't sure if this is something that is against any rule or expectation for Disney. So far as I can tell, you're free to explore the common areas of other resorts, so I don't see how or why it would violate a rule. If Disney is stopping this during...
