Annual Passholder: Bus vs. Driving to Parks

Even with an AP, I use the Disney transportation. When I'm on vacation, I'd rather not drive. Add to this, Orlando drivers, both locals and tourists, are some of the worst drivers I've seen. Imagine getting into an accident while on vacation and 350 miles away from home. What a headache...

    What if this thing fails?

I'm seeing a day, maybe a year after Star Wars opens that many people just say "enough is enough", it's not worth it anymore. Either the crowds or the prices will be too much to take.

News Disney to launch new Vacation Planning site to help guests with date-based tickets

This is the worst decision Disney has made in the past 10 years!! It may very well be the tipping point for me. I like to buy my tickets before hand to reduce some of the out of pocket expenses when I get there. I also like to be flexible in my park dates because I never know when I...

    Annual passes and park crowding

If that were true than a 1 day ticket should cost the same or more than a 10 day ticket.

    Annual passes and park crowding

What I don't understand is why Florida residents get much lower pass prices than out of state people. The Florida passholders most likely go to the parks more frequently than out of staters. It should be just the opposite. Florida passholders should be paying more.

News Disney removing plastic straws and more by mid-2019

But what about the trees, think about the trees. All those poor trees that will now have to be cut down to make those paper straws.

    Sci-Fi Dine-In

Can't seem to get a reservation for any time in December of this year. However, January 2019 looks wide open. Is there refurb going on that hasn't been published?

    Resort Parking Charges

Lets just agree that the resort parking fees stink, no matter the reason.

Pre-Trip Photographers 4th of July Solo "Prime Lense" Trip

I'll be leaving by car on the morning of the 4th from Macon Georgia and should arrive in plenty of time to see the special 4th of July fireworks at EPCOT. I also plan to get some night shots from the newly opened "Toy Story Land".

Pre-Trip Photographers 4th of July Solo "Prime Lense" Trip

I'm going to make my first solo trip. It will be just me this time and the primary purpose will be photography. I'm taking my Sony A7Rii and 3 prime lenses. An 85mm 1.4, a 55mm 1.8, and my newly acquired 35mm 1.4 for the dark rides. I'll be staying at All Star Sports from July 4...

One day at Magic Kingdom- Daytime, or *Just* After Hours?

In your situation, I would choose the after hours ticket. I'm going to be there on July 4th, 5th, and 6th and I plan to go to the parks only in the evening for the same reasons you gave. I might hit a rope drop one morning but I won't stay long.

I strongly disagree with the closure of the great movie ride and the new direction of Hollywood Studios

Agreed...closing the GMR was the biggest mistake Disney has made in the past year.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

If this has a possibility of being reversed, you and I must refuse to pay the fee. Forget letters and petitions, they will do no good. The only way to get the decision makers at Disney to listen is to hit them on their bottom line. Empty parking lots have a strange "ghost town" look to...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I have a reservation at Pop for May. It will be my last stay at a Disney hotel. I don't pay for parking at hotels, EVER! I know of a great hotel offsite that doesn't charge any fees, and has a great free breakfast to boot.
