    Do you like Tomorrowland Speedway/Autopia?

Goodness. I had no idea of the strength of feeling about Autopia/Speedway. Can anyone explain the sounds and smell? Never having ridden it, I'm not sure what the problems are. What do people think of the recent Honda update of Autopia at Disneyland?

    Do you like Tomorrowland Speedway/Autopia?

It's an attraction I've never bothered to ride at any of the parks. It's theming doesn't appearl, it's ride experience seems limited and, to be honest, a bit dull and it always has a long, slow-moving queue. What do other people think? What's it's appeal to you?

    Melody Time

A Disney Tale: Make Mine Music II arrives in the form of another package feature of various animations set to familiar pieces of music, this time with a focus on American folklore. Disney Hero: As with the previous package features, there are a number of 'heroes' in this film. Principal among...

    Astro Orbiting

A guide to space travel in the Disney Parks.... The first ride visible in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in California, is Astro Orbiter. It's also the first ride you come to at Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris (Discoveryland being their version of Tomorrowland). In the other parks, their versions...

Make Mine Music in the parks

Thanks for that. I love how little things are sneaked in obscure places.

    Sir Mickey's

It constantly amazes me how even the most obscure of Disney features manages to find a small corner in the Disney parks - especially when more famous, high profile animations are lucky to get a sniff of presence. Fun and Fancy Free is no different. Although Bongo the bear is absent...

    Fun and Fancy Free

My review of Fun and Fancy Free A Disney Tale: Jiminy Cricket introduces two tales - Bongo the Bear (a slightly disturbing tale of love in the bear community) and Mickey and the Beanstalk (a Disney version of the well-known fairytale). Disney Hero: With two 'films' in this package feature...

    Retro Games

The Aladdin game is good - I remember playing that on my friend's Sega. The WDW racing game is brilliant. We had the PC version and spent a long time trying to master each different attraction.

    Retro Games

Over the summer I found an emulator for my smartphone and have been playing classic Disney video games. I started with the Game Boy Snow White game which actually isn't as awful as you might think and then completed the Sega Pinocchio game which was actually lots of fun with a good variety of...

    Why no Bambi?

I like to think that, at 40, I'm pretty mature but Bambi still bores the pants off me every time I watch it!

    Song of the South

The next review in my ongoing Disney marathon: A Disney Tale: Join Uncle Remus as he helps Johnny, Ginny and Toby cope with the trials and tribulations of childhood by telling them the stories of Brer Rabbit. One of Disney's most notorious films. Disney Hero: With Song of the South being a mix...

Les Pay des Contes de Fees

Certainly the figures in front of the Emerald City are based on those seen in Return not Wizard (and consequently are closer to the original book illustrations by John R Neill).

Les Pay des Contes de Fees

I love this gentle ride at Disneyland Paris. What's your favourite scene? I rather like the Peter and the Wolf bit and the Cave of Wonders. I love how Casey Jnr trundles around you as you ride.

    Most Obscure Film Tie-in Attraction/Restaurant

Another one is the presence of The Old Mill at Disneyland Paris's Les Pays de Conte Fees (Storybook Land Canal Boats) and its former presence at the California version of the same ride. A Silly Symphony cartoon I shouldn't think anyone remembers very well!

    Favourite area of World Showcase

What's your favourite area of World Showcase. I think mine is probably Mexico mainly for the Gran Fiesta Tour which I think is a great attraction. Oh, and the poll wouldn't let me add Canada!! Too many options.

    Most Obscure Film Tie-in Attraction/Restaurant

I've been looking into Casey's Corner on my blog recently and wondered if, tied-in with Casey at the Bat, the short segment of Make Mine Music, whether it is the most obscure film tie-in attraction at a Disney park. Is there something even more obscure? Maybe the Blue Bayou restaurant's link...

Make Mine Music - a review

I look forward to them. Incidentally, what are other people's favourite segments from Make Mine Music?

Make Mine Music in the parks

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about Willie's poster and the Pirates restaurant, Blue Bayou. There's also a Blue Bayou at Disneyland Paris.

Make Mine Music in the parks

Any thoughts on how the package film Make Mine Music features in the Disney parks? Casey's Corner obviously appears at a lot of the parks inspired by the short cartoon Casey at the Bat. Is this a good place to eat (not been in it myself - always seemed far too busy both in Florida and in...

Make Mine Music - a review

A Disney Tale: A medley of musical numbers in the spirit, if not with the accomplishment, of Fantasia. Disney Hero: Make Mine Music is a very strange film. As one of the 'package' features it is made up of numerous shorts which are loosely connected by the theme of music. Unlike with Saludos...
