Any photos of the pool fences at Pop?

Kid drowned at Pop while I was there in March of '13.

bus loops at Saratoga and OKW

I've been searching for info on this and I am more confused than when I started. Is there an internal bus system at OKW and Saratoga, or can one get on and off the resort buses (like you can at AKL)?

    How WDW Co. spins ...

No you can't, schools have gotten very draconian about attendance. I got really sick in high school and missed a week and a half and despite working things out with my principals and what not still got letters from the superintendent. I responded with a copy of my 4.0 transcript. I always say...

    The Spirited 11th Hour ...

I really don't know how they recover from the last IJ. The character is now stuck in the Cold War era and fighting the soviets just didn't work as well as fighting Nazis. Long term it would be cool if they go to the sort of James Bond model, where continuity is less of a priority, and they can...

    Small World Storymaker Finale

It just seems tacky to me. It really reads like "hey we figured out how to do this lets throw it in here." Feels forced and clashes with the rest of the ride. You have a whole ride that is based on rudimentary animatronics and throw in a giant LCD at the end.

    All Star Movies or Pop?

Pop. It is really a step up from the All Stars. I know the theming is better at the movies, but to me if you are using bus service the guarantee that you will not share is worth it to me. I liked the pools at Pop better but I think that was more of a preference thing. Plus you can utilize...

    The Spirited 11th Hour ...

They were running non-stop during the IndyCar race. My dad (who was in Orlando with me in Jan) asked if they opened something new for star wars, despite having seen/experienced everything in the commercial. And he is by no means a Disney nube.

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

And your official checkout is 11 am? I've had people knock when we have gotten late checkout, but that is nuts.

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

I think you sum it up excellently. I think a lot Americans (of which I am one) have this sort of blind faith in capitalism (and that capitalism being unfettered capitalism). And having run a small business I get that regulation often runs the spectrum from onerous to simply stupid. And the...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

I keeps seeing people arguing over shareholder issues and going back and forth on capitalism and being publicly traded yada, yada, yada. But obviously the parks have always existed in a free market and the company has been public since '57. It is only very recently that there have been these...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

Thats a great point. I see Disney IT being barraged with complaints if they start charging a fee for WiFi service. People tend to be much more forgiving when a service is "free" or "complimentary".

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

Don't they tend to fudge the occupancy rates though by taking swaths of rooms out for maintenance? (Not arguing, but that was my understanding of how they keep numbers up on paper).

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

I hate it all around. To me it is one of the most annoying aspect of the Swan and Dolphin (along with parking fees). While someone pointed out the tax advantages when it comes down to it, it is clear that hotels primarily do this to appear cheaper on travel searches and they get customers...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

If they raised rack rates by $15 it would be a non issue. But it is the fact that these fees are aimed at deceiving customers by showing them a lower price to deceptively appear more competitive. The entire goal is to trick consumers.

No outside food and drink in WDW parks?

Can someone distill why other people brining in food harms them or their enjoyment of the park? I don't have a strong opinion either way, just curious why this is such an issue for some people.

No outside food and drink in WDW parks?

I don't see anyone declaring they have a right to take food in. Most people understand that Disney can make up whatever rules they want. That doesn't mean that people have to like it when they make these changes to the rules. It also doesn't mean that people are not going to complain about it...

    The Spirited 11th Hour ...

Money and politics = nefarious. Especially when they are likely to work to keep the wages and labor rights of hourly employees down.
