    2011 Dining Plan Changes?

Ok, what does that mean, I am actually am a DVC owner now and for my family it is just is going to make more sense to not try the DDP for a change since we have a villa and we could return to the resort to have dinner.

    2011 Dining Plan Changes?

Hey Lisalyn, I sent you a PM, but I am going make a point here so others can see it. As I said to you that if you know the DDP is 39.99 a day and you know how many days you will be going then I think if you take so much and set it aside you could easily save that and instead of going on the...

    2011 Dining Plan Changes?

When we started going to WDW in 2005 the DDP included the gratuity so to us the DDP was the best, it was prepaid and no surprises since we always did a character TS for our kids. As the plan as changed they dropped the gratuity so now we have to take extra $$ to drop a tip to the server. I...

    Renting DVC Points

That part you are correct, I was just stating points for days in July they are looking, but I think I got a base line and will be able to show them how by renting through me I could save them money. Also do others draft up an agreement to secure all parties?

    Renting DVC Points

. So how was your price decided? I looked on DVC site and if they wanted to get BLT SV-Studio for 7days it would be 120 points.

    Renting DVC Points

Slappy, I appreaciate any feed back since I have never done this before and I used the word friend loosely ( heck if it was Friend, I would be going with them, lol). When I saw the price range I just assumed $8-for studio, $10-for 1bdrm & $13 for 2bdrm.

    Renting DVC Points

Ok, so say they do want to stay at SSR for 5days in July in a 2bdrm. I check the point chart, so it would be 219 points for the stay, I charge $13.00 per point that brings the charge to $2,847.00 that the would pay me. Now when I check the Disney site to book a room and I select the same dates...

    Renting DVC Points

Here is another question on renting DVC, I have a friend that wants to rent my DVC and I have never done that ( we has always used our points) what do you charge them? When we bought in we bought our points for 101.00 for a point or do you use the Disney website price, say like SSR is going for...

Fun with DVC reservations, or why I go insane

We went through the same thing back Nov. 2009 and it made it to be a difficult process and what they did we treat them as different reservations so we had to go to the front desk to check out and check back in. but I remember when we went through the sales pitch with our DVC guide that he had...

In What Way Has Disney World Surprised You Most?

What surprises me is about that same as what Mikester71 stated. When we 1st visited in 2005, I thought it was a once in a life time event. When returned home from that trip we were so over whelmed with the experiance that we started to plan go back, which brought us to be DVC members. Also...
