My dad lives in Davenport off of SR 27. Love that area down there and lots of places to eat and shop at. Off 192 I recommend Miller's Ale House.

I am not planning on throwing around money other than our day hopefully at Epcot. We really just like to go to parks and see nature and be away from the hullabaloo of the city life. As I said it does not have to be Disney related I am just looking for ideas at other establishments in the area...

Also I am going to Epcot and the Boardwalk but want to do things away from there as well. Epcot will be perfect as far as I am concerned but we are there a week and want to explore a bit.

Those ride vehicles were on the road the day after closing. There is pictures of them on the highway on October 6th. My guess would be new boats all together.

Yea I saw this on the 4th when I was there. Seen the water dripping as I also did at Splash Mountain gift shop on the 7th. It was where the hats were located. Just bad to have that dripping onto merchandise.

I would be ok with them shutting down DHS if only they did it to do a massive renovation and add all the improvements they have discussed so it could be done quicke......sorry almost forgot who I was talking about.

Waste of time. The Disney company can do anything they want with their property as they see fit. Do we have to like it? No but if you don't then show by not going or purchasing mercahndise from them. That is where they will notice.....if they notice.
