    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

Whoops! Missed that! Yes - I agree!

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

Definitely get a second opinion from what the other user gave you - I'm fairly certain that you'll have free dining your entire trip. Generally, I believe all of these promotions are for check in dates between X and Y, meaning that if you check in during that time you have it for your entire stay.

Does this rumor include any info on other discounts like room only that might come out at the same time?

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

I'm a Rutgers Graduate and former NJ resident myself! If I look at prices from nice restaurants in my current area (Boston Suburbs), comparable food quality, service, and atmosphere probably costs more than it does in WDW. I'm sure the same must be true for your neck of the woods. I buy your...

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

You only commented on half of my argument and not the rest. One of the problems here is that people who go to Disney World are from New York, Boston, San Fransisco, Middle of Nowhere Kansas, and Small Town Iowa. If you're from a major metropolitan area the prices look great. If you're from the...

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

So here's my defense of the dining plan, free or paid for: We buy the dining plan for every visit. Why? Because we're cheap every other day of the year and never eat out or only get the cheaper options when we eat out because we feel guilty for spending the money (of which, we have enough)...

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

We are scheduled to arrive just after labor day for our family of 5 - it's going to save us $1k too! Honestly, if it's not offered I may re-consider our trip or at the very least our dining plan. We have just over $1k in Disney Dollars from our Visa card that will expire next year, so we...

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

Hopefully?! I say boo... boo to you and all the people who liked this. Free dining is actually a really freakin' good deal depending on the room type you book and your family's dining habits. I get that many people would be better off with room only discounts financially. I also get that...

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

OH MY GOSH - WHEN IS IT BEING ANNOUNCED?!! 157 Days out from our arrival and I can't take the wait. For the love of God, Disney, ANNOUNCE FREE DINING! Take mercy on me and my vacation budget.

When Your Little Ones LOSE IT At The Parks

I applaud you and your amazing parenting skills and your very reasonable daughter. Kids are all very different. There are some awesome parents out there who have kids who are just difficult. There are terrible parents who have kids that are awesome. Some kids are harder than others.. they're all...

    Akershus

Okay, wait - so no food is brought to the table correct? Argh... the family style method is so much better for families with small children.

Any photos of the pool fences at Pop?

Fences around pools are pretty standard and are the law in most places. If a fence prevents one child every 5 years (or whatever) from drowning, then I think that's awesome. I have a feeling that its more to keep pool hoppers out than preventing accidents, but I see it as a win-win. I believe...

Given that this whole thread is a joke, I can only hope this is a joke too.

What Happened to Mickey, Minnie, & Donald's houses/boat?

Their houses were foreclosed on during the recession. Poor Mickey and Minnie. This is why we now have to pay increasingly ridiculous ticket prices. Better hope Cindy makes her bills.

    Sensory Processing Disorder

Thank you so much for all of this! Great input!! My 3.5 year old SPD, hypotonic daughter is super excited for our visit that we are finally making this September. She was diagnosed with autism this year, though I'm not sure how accurate that diagnosis is. She sounds an awful lot like your...

    Hollywood & Vine characters question

Because it says Disney Junior Play n' Dine for Lunch and Breakfast, I'd bet that they will keep it to Disney Junior characters. Is it possible that reviews that you're seeing are referring to dinner now that that is Minnie's Seasonal Dining?

    Akershus

Is Akershus breakfast family style (platters of food brought to table) or buffet? Thanks!

One dining credit, just adults, your pick is?

Never said they couldn't :) With the exception of Ohana and this "adult meal", every single other ADR on the trip is character dining. Yikes!

One dining credit, just adults, your pick is?

Awesome suggestions, everyone! I think we are going to end up going to Sci-Fi (we've already got ADRs at Ohana and have had many many wonderful meals at Sanaa).
