    Favorite Bathrooms? Least Favorite Bathrooms?

During Christmas they are all skanky. There have been times where I had to tell a cast member the bathrooms were out of paper and were pretty disgusting. Some of the worst have been: MK- right next to City Hall and by the Merchants of Venus in Tomorrowland.

Disney after the kids have grown

Facing that same dilemma. Son going off to college this fall. We planned a trip for this summer (yes, I know it will be hot) and then he gets a month off for winter break, so we are going for Christmas.

    Hotel Options by Disney Springs

Thanks for the recommendations. After pricing out the options, we are going to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista. Its 1 mile from Disney Springs. Wish it was a bit closer, but the price difference was enough to decide on this place. It was one of the few offsite hotels that...

    Hotel Options by Disney Springs

We do have an annual pass. There are no resort specials yet for the time of year we want to go. We will be there for almost 2 weeks.

    Hotel Options by Disney Springs

Planning 2 trips to WDW, which means we have to stay in a budget. The value properties on property are close to $200 a night (including taxes) Would like to stay by Disney Springs. Any experiences or recommendations to share? I found one that had good prices but awful customer...

Things That You Do To Make You Feel Closer to WDW

For us, its the little things that not are not normal tourist attractions. Its behind the scenes things, or things Cast Members shared.

Rate the value for the price charged for tickets.

If you are able to get the tickets as part of a package then it can be a better value. Some packages include reduced hotel rates or free dining plans. It just depends. We purchased annual passes for several years. After 2 trips the tickets paid for themselves, so we always tried to...

What are some "Traditions" Your Family has when you go on a Disney Vacation?

I am confused. Why wouldn't seeing the Osborne lights qualify as a must do tradition. We went every holiday season for 12 years to be a part of the light experience. Sadly, its gone and we will have to create new memories. Jingle Jam didn't cut it.

What are some "Traditions" Your Family has when you go on a Disney Vacation?

Disney took away our tradition. For over 12 years we celebrated the holidays by going to the Osborne lights. We went back to WDW over the holidays to see if we could start a new tradition. Nothing clicked yet.

Should we take mid day pool breaks in August?

We live in Texas and thought we could handle the August Florida heat just fine. The thing is, when its hot in Texas, we are not standing in a line for an hour waiting for an attraction. Those cooling neckerchiefs are also great. You run them under cold water and put them behind your neck...

Should we take mid day pool breaks in August?

We've done a few August trips with the intention of going back to the hotel for a swim break. Never happened. We found indoor attractions instead. We spent more time at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios. There were more shady and indoor things for us versus Epcot and Animal Kingdom...

Attendance drop in the parks... I wonder why

Disney should be able to figure this out. They have people surveying guests all of the time. In my opinion, attendance may be down for one big reason. Value. Most working class people like to think they are getting a good deal for their hard earned money and time.

Riding all 47 rides in 1 day, they did it...

We were in the parks that day. Since it was pretty crowded, I wonder how they beat all of the long lines to accomplish such a great task. Did they have some magical fast pass?

Thinking about a Nov trip, what's your favor quick service, F&W kiosk?

Normally I would second your vote for Columbia House. It used to be one of our favorites. We just ate there last month and the shrimp was so heavily coated we couldn't taste the shrimp at all. It was also greasy and didn't set well afterwards. We told the staff to lighten up on the breading.

Thinking about a Nov trip, what's your favor quick service, F&W kiosk?

We stopped at a few kiosks along the way in Epcot and enjoyed most of them. As for favorite quick service- here are our picks: Magic Kingdom- Pecos Bills splitting a fajita plate with great toppings bar and Cosmic Ray's. Animal Kingdom- Flame Tree BBQ- Epcot- Taco place in Mexico don't...

    complaining

There is no denying food prices are high. If you load the My Disney Experience app into your phone you will have access to all of the dining menus. We try to set a daily budget and find ways to reduce some costs. Making lunch the big meal of the day or splitting large entrees may save some...

    Rude CMs

I've encountered rude CM's and rude guests. Can't do much about rude guests because they are "entitled" to act any way they want. If I encountered a rude CM, I would talk to guest services. I try to remember where we were and the CM's name.

Please help me make a resort decision!

If you are only doing Disney then staying on property may be the better option. You won't need a rental car, and the Magical Express takes you roundtrip to/from the airport. Parking is $20 a day. Add gas and other fees and off site may not be that cheap. We stay at the on site value...
