Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

In my opinion it’s because kids are constantly exposed to common coronaviruses like the common cold kids are always getting sick! This would provide them with the T cell immunity which often lasts around 17 years which I think is why younger people are less affected by this virus, the elderly...

That still doesn’t explain why In London there are hardly any cases here now but outbreaks are happening elsewhere in the country if there wasn’t some sort of natural immunity London would be having more cases than it’s currently seeing especially the way Londoners behave and the amount of multi...

The results from phase 1 of the Oxford vaccine are also in and that is showing great potential to help stop the spread if both a viable treatment and vaccine are both just a few months away it’s a reason to be a bit more positive then yesterday :)

Bit In response to my article that’s a bit harsh to say I was trying to post something positive to those that may be reading and having anxiety over all this I think there’s a bit more to it then “ barely one step above anecdotal” the article itself even states it’s not peer reviewed yet and...

I agree I don’t think we will ever know the truth about herd immunity and percentages of a vaccine comes to fruition there is growing evidence though that T cells are very important and it’s great news that I think the modern a and Oxford vaccine help with this. I agree with you on the counting...

Bit of a scandal from the uk this morning natural deaths are being counted as covid because of people testing positive months ago and recovered and then subsequently died. Our health minister wants an urgent review. On more positive news a pre print from oxford suggests the uk has already...

https://www.itv.com/news/2020-07-15/positive-news-is-coming-on-oxford-covid-19-vaccine-writes-robert-peston. Looks like the oxford vaccine is going well it also touches on T cell immunity which seems to be proving more hopeful in the long term there’s been a paper published...

I agree with your points I myself am vulnerable and worried about catching the virus it’s why I’m trying to look for the more positive news as otherwise I don’t think i would leave the house! I think what he is getting at is that lockdowns do reduce the spread but not by much personally I...

Ah ok as the author outlines what he believes they got right. Basically he says that their curve is the same as every other country in Europe and that there stats regarding covid are better then some countries that did lockdown and there has been no disruption to their kids education. He is of...

That’s why I said it’s controversial it’s what the author and some people think not me personally. Plus more and more scientists believe 20 percent is needed for herd immunity because it’s believed that T cells are now more important in fighting off this virus than antibodies there have been a...

Thanks. Only as it seems that it’s been around 2 weeks since cases started to surge or maybe it’s just felt that long! I’ve been seeing that experts believe that after an initial boom of cases and deaths the virus burns itself out/becomes weaker and that’s what has happened in uk, Europe...

Are deaths beginning to rise or spike in Florida yet? I don’t see anything changing unless they do. rightly or wrongly that is the metric people in charge are probably basing their decisions on. If deaths don’t rise Or spike but instead stay stable or decrease In the next few weeks would...

An interesting report has come out from Spain saying that there was traces of covid in the sewage water from March 2019! More studies like this need to be carried out to see just how long this thing has been around and to see if this was just an anomaly

I believe this is the case in London when antibody tests were sent out to random households the percent that had it was 20% with the majority having no symptoms. Here you still need to show symptoms to get tested and were still seeing on average 1300 cases a day now if anyone could get tested I...

Here in the uk you can only get tested if your showing symptoms or work in care not sure what the criteria is for the rest of Europe but if anybody could get tested like in Florida our cases here would likely be in the thousands too
