    "Last day" management

We have done both ways multiple times. We have had 10 am flights which meant be at DME by 7, and we have also done 6pm flights, DME time for 3ish. We prefer the later departure. We check our luggage at the airline check in and enjoy some more pool time and activities around the resort. This year...

Best Moderate for location AND transportation

This is a huge reason for the great bus service. Not as many people actually using the transportation.

Best Moderate for location AND transportation

Coronado Springs for location and transportation. Hands down. It is centrally located, has the best driving times to parks out of all the moderates, and in my 4 stays there I have never had to wait for a second bus when going back to the resort after park close. (This could definitely just...

    DME question....

I was figuring it would not be known until we got to the airport :( I will still call to double check, but I am pretty sure we will get the "it will depend on the day/hour of check in". (we wont pay to get a car/taxi to the resorts, so we will just have to be ok with having seperate arrival...

    DME question....

Does anyone know if it is possible for people staying at seperate resorts to somehow take the same DME bus to their resort, or to one of the resorts, and then taxi/bus to the 2nd resort a bit after gettting to the first resort? Here is why I ask: My mother is going to WDW with us for her first...

    Moderately Indecisive...

I have never stayed at CBR, so I have nothing bad to say about it (and truthfully even though we have never been there it is still our number 2 Moderate resort). CSR on the other hand we have stayed at 4 times now, and we have absolutely loved every single vacation there. There are many small...

1900 Park Fare Dinner vs Akershus

We love both of thesse places. We have done Akershus for both Breakfast and Dinner. We did Breakfast one trip, and dinner the next (definitely doing dinner again this time!!) and had great interaction with the characters as well as great food at both meals! We had a breakfast reservation for our...

    Alcohol at your resort pool?

Whether it be alcohol or soda, it's just the glass bottles that are not allowed pool side. If you get a bottled drink from the pool bar and are going back to your lounge chair with it they make you pour it in a solo cup first. The family with the big cooler was not breaking any Disney rule...

Wher do You Go To Relax And People Watch???

My favorite place to relax and people watch is definitely the TTA, mostly because I am relaxing and people watching, while still doing "something". I also really enjoy a walk around World Showcase at dusk with a drink in hand just taking everything in. Sometimes even just sitting waiting for...

Taking my son for his first trip

I agree, take him while he is still Free! We took my DD when she was 3 1/2, and wished we hadn't waited so long! Even if he can't ride all the rides, and won't remember much, YOU will and that makes it worth it!!

    HElp!!!!

No. I did not say that. Read it again. I wrote that something would be more likely to happen during the 100's of bumpy car rides you would have while pregnant (dependant on where you live, I had frost heaves and dirt roads to contend with) than would happen during a ride on Pooh or Splash...

    HElp!!!!

I have no idea what you are "well, no...not really"-ing. You are correct that it is not rare to get bumped around on Splash. Where did I say that it was rare?

    HElp!!!!

I think it would depend on how far along you are during the trip. I went to the world when I was 13 weeks pregnant and rode everything. I did ask my doctor first, and she said that early on there would be no problems. I say ask your own doctor as well, but if they say they see no problem with...

    Country Bear Confessions!

I dragged my family on it on our trip last October because it was one of the only attractions I had never been to. I hated it. Really really hated it. I get that it's nostalgic for some, a classic in another sense, but never again for this lady. My DH still to this days makes fun of me for...
