Oh, man - I would have been FREAKING OUT had I been in that situation with the car giving warnings. There's no way I wouldn't have had a couple of drinks at dinner!! Or before! Glad it all worked out.

We had luck at AOA. I kept reminding Disney and reminded them again when I did online check-in. I don't know if that helped, but we got them! It worked out great.

Do any portions of any DVC resort allow dogs? I know some of the resorts started it a while back (not sure it is still going on), but wasn't sure if any DVC resort offered it.

This sounds like a lot of fun (except for driving the rental truck part!!). I would say more than half of my WDW experiences were due to band and choir trips. In fact, way way way back in the 70's when I was in college, my first 2 times to WDW was when Miami University went to the Tangerine...

Those Mickey Ears with the tassels cracked me up! Love them! Did everyone as a group move their tassels from the right to the left to signify that you had all graduated?

Graeter's Ice Cream are local shops in the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana area of the country. It is the best ice cream and in their ice cream that normally has chocolate "chips", they have these dark chocolate Chunks - and somehow the chunks don't get super hard like in some ice creams - always melt...

So sorry about Marty. It is very hard to lose a close family member - which a dog is so much a part of the family.
