I totally agree. I love the ride, but the glasses were falling off my face the whole time. I guess it probably isn't helping that I wear glasses. You'd think they'd design their 3D glasses to fit well for the (millions) of people who need glasses to see. I can't just take them off :/

Does anyone know if the renewal rate for the Platinum Plus is less than the rate for a new pass? We currently have the Gold pass and need to renew at the end of September, so the timing is perfect, but it looks like there's no difference in price whether you're buying new or renewing - it's $559...

I've gotten Smuggler's Bounty (Star Wars) and Collector's Corps (Marvel) and really enjoyed most of them, but ultimately couldn't justify the cost. One issue I had was the shirts - one ended up with a hole in a seam and another was printed off center.

Usually just asking them to stop solves the problem, assuming they speak English. Just sitting there being mad about it doesn't accomplish much :/

I don't have any inside info, but I agree that it's mostly the aesthetic. I like both rides for what they are, but Na'vi River Journey definitely evokes Pandora in my opinion, while Under the Sea does remind me of The Little Mermaid film, if a little basic.

It was outdated. I think if they'd kept it updated over the years it would've been a success even now, but with the rate technology advances they'd probably have to work on it annually.

If you can actually manage to snag a FP for FoP then by all means get it! I'd do it at rope drop too ;)

I wouldn't do Magic Kingdom just based on how long it takes to get from the park to your car and how much can go wrong to delay you! I also second getting a resort breakfast or even a table service restaurant in a park before you leave!

Agree with Bonine. I use the generic brand, which you can buy on Amazon really cheap. It got me through my last cruise like a charm and I get bad motion sickness too.
