New 'Ultimate Nights of Adventure VIP Tour' now available to book at Disney's Animal Kingdom

The price of this tour is absurd. This is more than double the price of a Six Flags premium flash pass which pretty much lets you skip the line of every ride for the entire day (most operating days 12 hours). I guess you can say with this offer you get a free drink and popcorn... Let's hope...

Rumor Siemens is going to end their sponsorship with the parks - Spaceship Earth and IllumiNations

I am assuming that SSE will be open for the park's 35th birthday??? If not, that will be really sad.

2016 TEA Themed Entertainment Attendance Report

It is amazing that after roughly 5 to 10 years of pure stagnation in updating the parks, WDW has only now fallen back to under 70% of Orlando's market share or even more surprising back to its 2014ish share numbers. The next few years will be interesting to see how much Disney's new additions...

New speciality cruise takes guests around World Showcase Lagoon

I think this might be big with corporate clients/conventions. A number of conventions are held or have guests stay at the Swan/Dolphin or YC so it is near by and a good activity for these events. Also, if they like it I could see them doing add-ons like food and alcohol. I would not do this...

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I would assume they are putting the Falcon and more of the queue inside in Florida due to the rain and heat in Florida being a bigger concern than SoCal. So this makes sense. I think walking past the Falcon in a fake hanger would be pretty cool as well.

    News Caribbean Beach Expansion

Is there any chance Disney builds a new country on the expansion pad next to China which is tied in with this new tower/hotel and to make it a Deluxe uses a Hogwarts express type transportation system to connect it with Epcot? If you somehow went with Brazil as a new country, you could even...

Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

Would it be possible to put the ride/additional area on the international gateway facing side? Less to move and you keep the expansion country plot open.

Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

I would personally prefer to see a Ratatouille ride in France over B&tB. We already have a B&tB show at HS and even if this eventually goes, we have the B&tB section of Fantasyland at the MK. If anything, I would like to eventually see a B&tB ride added behind Fantasyland proper. Ratatouille...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

Would this possibly be in relation to any Magic Kingdom 50th anniversary plans? I would love to see Joe in charge of a Frontierland expansion

MK Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

I have never seen Wreck it Ralph in full (so I hope nobody throws a shoe at me here for that lol) but from what I am reading this could at its best be a better fit to Tomorrowland than say Monsters or Buzz Lightyear as the racing portion of the game could be seen as a futuristic software issue...

    WDI Layoffs

I am not shocked by this news. Pandora is way over budget to the point money is being reallocated to cover for its expenses from other projects. All of the world travel for research purposes by Joe and team might have been nice – but Chappies more operational focus sees this as excessive and a...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

If there is any IP that could go here, it is Mickey. Let's be honest, without Mickey there most likely would be no Disneyland or DisneyWorld. When you think of it, it is pretty crazy that Mickey has never been the center of a true E-ticket. To make him the central focus of a park is a very...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

Agree with Marni and WDW1974! I think that the GMR if anything should have been updated after all of the new lands opened - so it could have maintained capacity during the construction of SWL and TSL. GMR is a classic ride that with some updates could have been as good if not better than when...

DHS Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Hi Marni - so after reviewing your map (well done sir) and the satellite map, will Disney still be moving the toll road and/or building parking garages? It looks like to complete the Star Wars and TSL expansion, no major changes are needed to the park's existing land mass. If so it was...

DHS So What's The Mysterious "Third IP" Coming to DHS?

Interesting reads - I really think Disney may make a play and it would be perfect for an amusement park as it has a loyal fan base which would generate worldwide buzz...

DHS So What's The Mysterious "Third IP" Coming to DHS?

This just popped into my head - what about James Bond. You could use a TestTrack/Cars type ride platform where you ride in an Aston Martin? DHS is probably the most adult park in Disneyworld and I could see the addition of a London-based James Bond land.

Guardians of the Galaxy coming to Energy Pavilion at Epcot

Even if they were to build a Ratatouille in the French pavilion, I think they would have room behind the theater (2 attractions for France would be interesting). It could be nice if they created a walkway by the water in the below satellite map and build the ride on the backside of the...
