With construction confirmed to break ground in 2026, maybe we will get an opening timeframe at DD23 2025.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

Some in the Disney fandom do indeed think that the Hyperion will go for a 5th Avengers Campus attraction and that X-Men and F4 will be prime candidates.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

MMRR I believe broke ground in fall 2019 for the original 2022 opening, so if they start in Jan 2026, they could have It ready by LA2028.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

There has been speculation on the IU forums that the studio tour load/unload could move, allowing them to expand the Simpsons replacement into that spot.

https://blogmickey.com/2025/05/muppetvision-3d-archive-filming-cast-member-event/ Based on this it appears Monsters is still happening FWIW.

Sounds like the EGW will break ground once the 2026 DLR RunDisney event is over. Then once the 70th wraps in August/September 2026 they hit the ground running on Avatar.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Here's hoping the same level of quality and care trickles down into the post EU additions to IOA and USF. USF needs to be what they need to focus on next though. EU can wait a while for new stuff.

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I think a trackless ride like Rise would be a better fit for Villains than the Infinity Defense ride system.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Probably for the Simpsons replacement. the work on the hillside where Mummy and SS 16-24 is where the new one will likely be.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I think Disney is in wait and see mode now to see if the tariffs stick or are removed or struck down.

News Red Car Trolley to close February 8, 2025

For now. I wonder how long it will stay before they rip out the tracks. With the backlot tipped for Avatar, the stretch with the Animation building and Hyperion will likely become something else.

WDW during a Recession / Economic Downturn

Apparently the tariffs are going to face a challenge in court. Just trying to keep myself from going crazy over the economic fallout and how it might screw up what sounds like a promising decade of Disney parks projects

Good ideas never truly die at Disney. Someday a Villains land will come to fruition.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

Villains sounds like it would be a lucrative land that could draw people back once the economy bounces back in the 2029-2030 timeframe. If there is no mention of it at DD23 2025, then I think we could assume its toast.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

At DHS if grand avenue does its phased closing in May thats a sign Monsters is still on as well. For DCA Infinity Defense and Stark Flight lab are happening as they already broke ground. I think the fate for a lot of projects such as Coco and Avatar for DCA as well as villains will be hinted...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

If projects were indeed canned, stuff would leak out via these forums. However the second half of the 10 year parks plan that would be showed off at D23 2028 could be budget cut beyond recognition depending on the economy conditions come 2026-2027. Which is a shame considering how YTers like...
