Not nefarious, but some BIG agencies are shady (they’re not owned by Disney obvs). I mean, if you’re hosted, you are expected to keep secret the marketing tactics/whatever promotions TWDC has coming up. Then you have agencies that just totally disregard it.

Wait til you learn about what happens when Disney hosts a travel agency.

He is the de facto mascot. Like @Homemade Imagineering was saying above: merch is all talk. They will put out plush after plush. Shirt after shirt. Talk is cheap.

If the picture I’ve seen is any indication, the area is not prepped and ready to go. Granted, what I’ve seen is a year old and a lot could’ve happened between then and now. It really is just a viscous cycle of the space not being utilized in the best way.

The dream situation would be the following: court a sponsor for SSE and get them to commit to an overhaul. If that would be a previously discussed sponsor, I think it would be fine. If TWDC isn’t spending a lot of their own money on SSE, that may free some extra $$ for Imagination. Of course...
