Agreed. We stayed at Yacht Club last August (booked what was then standard garden view but got a free upgrade to water view) and our room was beautifully functional, tastefully themed, and had flooring and furnishings that still looked brand new.

I'd get rid of VQs, G+, and ILLs altogether. Everyone waits in standby except for DAS guests/parties, who can sign up for one return time at a time (representing the standby wait time) and can't enter any other attractions until they've used or canceled it.
