From what I have seen, it looks like they wanted something like Pandora, which gave AK a massive jump of attendance (becoming the third most visited park in the world), but Star Wars Land only managed to keep the growth that the parks were already having with the good economy.

I don't think that i was so happy to hear about budget cuts like now. When someone in this thread reminded of the magic tree, i reminded of how laughably bad that new Epcot was going to be and, how despite these budget cuts won't give us an ideal park, at least it maintains the hope alive...

A Lion King trackless ride would be way better than to destroy a really great attraction. We need more rides and no cheap overlays...

GOTG in MK and Tron in Epcot would have saved Tomorrowland 94 and Future World at the same time... And if that part of the park became the Digital Frontier, they could have made an amazing flynn's arcade instead of the bland Play pavilion.

And because classic rides just need refreshments, not huge changes? If the Haunted Mansion received a big "update" like this one, everyone would be really unsatisfied just like now.
