    GMR Gangster Scene...

Maybe that wall allows them to work behind the scenes on it while the ride still operates?? Not sure, but work for me last time to. Sorry : (

    ISTCrew's July 12th WDW Update

Thanks for the update Patrick. I can't believe how much has changes since I was there just a couple weeks ago. Interesting that they are adding Fastpass to Indy when Disneyland is actually removing Fastpass from several attractions and will begin using the system on a limited basis depending...

    DINOSAUR vs INDY

Its nothing like it actually. Adventure express is more like big thunder mountain than Indy. Indy is comepletely submersive. The Que line itself is something to see. Is all indoors, so there is no open air coaster ride. In the simplest terms, the ride vehicles are like convertible simulators...

    DINOSAUR vs INDY

Dino has this built in too, just not as obvious. Sometimes, the timerovers will get "stuck in the mud" or stall and dr. seeker is trying to get it started again. So, there is some, though slight, variations. P.S. The begining rooms on Indy are actually the same room...they just change the...

EPCOT Update: AT&T & Pure and Simple Gone, and What's Left of Food Rocks

Was just there a couple weeks ago and the att sign on the finale where is says "Bringing people together anywhere anytime" (see Grizz's pics)thats covered up looks tacky. Couldn't the have replace that instead of taping black paper over it?? Bad show.

Something you always say you're going to do, but don't

I'm the same way (just said two weeks ago its the only ride I haven't ridden for the same reasons). The only other thing I always say I'll do and don't is get over to one of the two mini golf courses for a round. Never seem to find the time.

    DINOSAUR vs INDY

Both are great in their own ways. I've always loved Indy because they got everything right on this one in my opinion (Que, inventive ride system at the time, theme, effects, etc). Will always be a crowd pleaser even going on 10 years old next year. Dino is also a great ride in its own...

    Changes coming to Kali River?

I posted a quasi trip report with some thoughts on my last visit a couple weeks ago. Just thought I'd share my 5 year old nephew's take on Kali. There was only a 10 min wait, so I broke down because he wanted to ride it. We got off and I asked what he thought and he said, " It was short and...

    new value resort??

We just stayed their a week ago. We payed for a premium room ($9 more a night), but were told that was just for the 60's buildings. I don't think they charge for views of hourglass lake, but I can't be completely sure.

Thoughts on my trip June 21-28

Hey Everyone. Just returned from my weeklong trip to Disney. Trip was great and everyone had a blast. Our cruise aboard the Grand One was canceled due to a gas line problem. We were disappointed, but glad it didn’t happen while we were cruising. Instead of a whole trip report, here are just some...

    Spaceship Earth "dark ages" smell

really adds to the attraction. I always enjoy that part of the ride. You can by the scent for fog machines. Great for haunted houses. They even have a dead rotting corpse scent...I really don't want to know what that smells like. I'll stick with my October wet leaves scent ; )

What ride has the most meaning to you

Although almost every ride now has some strong memory tied to it, the Haunted Mansion has the most meaning. It is my earliest memory of WDW. I went very very young with my parents for the first time and my most vivid mempry was of the haunted mansion (specifically the creepy spiders on the webs...

    Your Favorite Restroom!!!

Although based on DL and not WDW, MerHearted (and all you restroom lovers from this thread), here is a link to all the DL restrooms page called "The Happiest Potties on Earth". http://www.mouseplanet.com/potties/ The first time I read this I cracked up. Itas actually pretty cool though...

    Project Gemini was a hoax!!!???

The only hole in this argument is that Project Gemini was to rename Future World to something like Discoveryland. With that name change, just about anything would go. Wouldn't have to be all about the future anymore at that point...just an FYI.

If you could meet one character

I've also seen sorcerer mickey next to SSE in EPCOT. He's usually right outside of the gallery shop on the west side.
