Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Yep, they could build the "Indiana Jones saves the Rain Forest" ride in The Land in Epcot.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I don't even expect some backstory for the GotG in EPCOT (actually a franchise I didn't even know about and I don't care for at all). They will just say "hey we finally have another thrill ride in EPCOT so why do you ask about a story, who cares, who needs it, enjoy and STFU."

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Errr...actually NO. He is not exactly preserving things, he is "organizing" them and he is payed for.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Oh yes and talking bout armchair imagineering, if they would want to combine dinosaurs with Indiana Jones and the existing EMV ride technology how about a mixture of JttCotE, IJA and Dinosaur with a little spoonful of Atlantis. It begins similar to the TDS ride but with an IJ theming, you go...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I just wanted to make something clear. We are discussing a RUMOR about a THEME PARK ATTRACTION. It is NOT politics and ideology, we are not discussing global warming or what ever heats up discussions nowadays to boiling heat (and hate). We ALL share a beautiful passion, WALT DISNEY WORLD, the...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Watch this excellent (as usual) video made by Martin (Marni), it answers all questions concerning track layout, it is EXACTLY the same.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Not an archeological digsite, a paleontological digsite, that's a difference, they excavate dinosaur remains not ancient relics and ruins, Indiana Jones is as misplaced there as the team from Jurassic Park in Tanis.

Animal Kingdom & the 50th Anniversary

Although I actually love TRON (the original movie, the sequel was disappointing, don't know the animated series though) I believe the unique character of the ride on light cycles will appeal to MANY guests that don't exactly like TRON or even know the movie at all.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I agree, I am not exactly a fan of Dinosaur but I would appreciate a plussing and return to the original concept, updated technology could make especially the final of the ride a real thrill. Imagine, immediately after the Iguanodon has been sighted (and mysteriously captured without any visible...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

And I agree that Dinosaurs fit perfectly well in this park. They are a beloved classic in many parks, even those parks which have no connection to primeval worlds whatsoever have often Dinosaurs, even our only amusement park in Berlin (Spreepark, closed since 2001, has become a "lost place"...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

It's called Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril and it is one of the worst rollercoasters in a Disney park IMHO, a makeshift solution from the 90ies, basically an of-the shelf rollercoaster from swiss Intamin which was surrounded by a less than convincing theming (at least for WDI standards)...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

If we would get IJA I would always prefer the TDS South America version to the DL version but please minus those crystal skulls, perhaps the South America Chachapoyan temple from the Raiders prologue works better although it was actually Kauai:D, they didn't even fit good into movie.

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

EPCOT is not DAK, the problem with EPCOT is totally different to the problems there. EPCOT's original theme as a "permanent" world fair, with pavilions and attractions rooting in edutainment has been replaced mostly by some "Disney-Pixar-Microedumovietainment" because the park seems to have been...

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I wouldn't believe those rumors because it is the wrong park, Indiana Jones in DAK doesn't make any sense, the same with an "archeology-themed dig site". What has this to do with the theme of DAK? As much as I would appreciate (a heavy understatement) IJA to finally come also to the east coast...

    Tom Sawyer Island Makeover

Martin may I ask where exactly the expansion pads for FL are located?

    Tom Sawyer Island Makeover

Yes they need to do something with TSI, they have to restore it to its old glory! Reopen Aunt Pollys, which was a perfect location for a light snack after you explored the island. Give us the guns back in the Fort, it's a FORT for goodness sake, it is a military installation and not a "welcome...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Does anyone know if the construction of the TRON coaster on the expansion pad will also include a new CS restaurant, a substantial gift shop (not only some small corner at the exit) and/or an arcade like Flynns from the first movie? Sorry if that question was already asked but I don't want to...

If you could only choose two parks for a trip, which would they be and why?

Always the MK, the MK is the heart of WDW and the core of the experience. Nr 2 EPCOT not only because it is the second full day park but also because DHS at the moment is only an empty hull with few attractions remaining until the two expansions open and DAK is still only a half day park IMHO, I...

Tokyo cars spotted near the speedway

I was hoping that the construction of TRON near the present TL Speedway would bring a MAJOR change into this area as well, but we know already that will not happen. At least I am hoping now for major refurb of this outdated, ugly, loud and annoying eyesore that is about as TOMORROW-like as a CRT...

Big changes coming to Boo To You Parade And other MNSSHP changes

We did the MNSSHP in 2012 once, the boo too you parade was the ONLY reason I would do it again (and the vanilla scented fog at the HM) but the rather disappointing quality of the treats, the less than impressive villains show and the fact that you can watch Hallowishes (or what it is called now)...
