News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I'm a bit easier to please as I love Galaxy's Edge/Pandora & like TSL but yeah I'm not too hot on NFL. Seven Dwarves looks nice, I guess lol

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I definitely agree with this. They've done half of that already, but they seem to think the job is done. I think the addition of Galaxy's Edge sets up DHS to be the "number 2" but they have to keep investing in it. Like you said, I don't think there's anything they can ever to do stop MK's...

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I'm not familiar with the original ride, so I'm not sure what they could do with that space especially since it's connected to the aquarium. But yeah, I'm not a fan of that ride either.

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

The only bigger problem they have is how DHS is a half-finished park, it doesn't seem like they have intentions of fixing that either... I think they'd sell more if the ride was actually good though. They sell a lot now, but it's only Disney diehards buying it. Figment's an enigma to everyone...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

An indie movie isn't hurting Disney. Massive bombs like Ant-Man 3, Wish, The Marvels, Indy 5 & Little Mermaid are. They need to scale back on that stuff. Focus on quality & making their movies events again. They really only need 1 blockbuster per quarter, maybe 2 in the summer.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

That works too. You'd be able to build them a fanbase first.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I live about 5 minutes from Uni. As long as they're not shooting off tons of fireworks off every night (which I don't think they do anyway), then no one would care. That area is kinda chaotic at all times of day anyway.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

The Echo character isn't even particularly in the comics either, she's just sort of there. The Guardians at least had a cult favorite comic run from 2008-2010 before their movie dropped. They have to stop doing these movies/shows based on characters that aren't even popular with hardcore comic...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

I think the craziest thing about how early they close is that I feel their audience is the "late night" crowd anyway. They'd make a killing if at least one of the parks was open to midnight regularly.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

I really enjoyed that movie but yeah it's for a very niche audience. I'd say it's a "weirdo movie", which will turn lots of people off. But it's great that movies like that are being made especially when they're still funded by big studios.

News Disney hints at more changes to come at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I'd love that. I wonder if the chance at just taking stuff from Hong Kong would influence them to do that over IP stuff. They love adding IPs but they also love porting stuff lol As for Pecos Bill, I won't really miss that restaurant; I think it's very mediocre, almost bad food. But I do wish...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

At least it seems like something is happening. They could easily just sweep this all under the rug & never mention it again.

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Those characters are already all over the park too. Giving them a home would make a lot of sense!

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Really? I think ROTR does a much better job at that. That entire ride reminds me of the 2nd act of the original Star Wars where Luke, Han, Leia & Chewie are running around the Death Star, dodging Stormtroopers & traps. The Mickey ride is fun but it's a bit too slow for how fast paced & crazy...

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I wish they were getting rid of the carnival & replacing it with a better themed dinosaur area. Then use some of AK's expansion space for the South America ideas.

DKC has fantastic music in general, some of the best in gaming.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

They must somehow make more money from that crap... or atleast think they will.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

The Encanto plans seem to be just a ride in a South America themed land, both the plan for MK & the plan for AK. Also, the only IP that's gotten a land that's "young" is Zootopia; I think the uniqueness of that setting, as well as the movie's popularity in China is what lead to it getting a...
