At this point, I don't understand why these studios even make the actors/directors available to the press leading up to a film's release. It's just too easy for them to say something that will aggravate 25% of the public and tank a film's opening.

GOTG was made at a time when Marvel was invested in longterm thinking and planning. It no longer is.

I was kind of hoping the Taskmaster would return in the third act and then unmask and it would be Zemo. And speaking of the third act, it needed an action scene going on with the other characters, inter-cut with Yelena being in the Void by herself.

I thought it was okay. Definitely better than the last Captain America and the Marvels. A little better than Quantumania (which is really a Fantastic Four/Flash Gordon film starring the wrong family). Probably on-par with Shang-Chi. Unfortunately, if past is prologue, it's not going to make...

I think it was almost impossible to hide what they did with false marketing. People are too online now; the story was how much of a screwup this film was (and how awful Zegler is), not how close it was to the original.

Not me. I think the live-action remakes are perfectly fine (and a smart business decision) ... as long as they adhere as closely as possible to the originals.

I said this when the Seven United Hobos of Benetton photo was leaked, but this film should have been used as a tax write-off like Batgirl. That would have allowed them to immediately put a faithful live-action version of Snow White into production.

The only MCU characters that IOA would be prohibited from using are the ones that were created in the MCU (Darcy, Coulson, etc), not the comic books ... with the possible exception of the Guardian of the Galaxy characters and (maybe) the SHIELD characters (like Nick Fury and Maria Hill). They...
