I just got a lot less excited upon realizing the side support beams that they removed from people mover were the sleek white ones. I initially thought they were taking down the metal fins and would have been thrilled to see that happen. womp womp.

I know there are some brighter turret-toppers under that scrim, but overall the color scheme seems much softer than what we saw in the original artwork. My major worry is that the original castle at the bottom will stick out against the new sections.

Absolutely. If anything - a lot of people didn't like sitting super close because there was a lot happening around and above you. That being said, my family sat in the front row and it was unforgettable.

The more I see of the castle (new renderings, model, etc) the more I like it. While I think it's a bit over-the-top, I think that's the entire point. It honestly makes me wish Tokyo's castle was more unique so that we had very different castles in every park around the world.

Count me among those that did not like MPR at all, but I'm glad it seems many on here really enjoyed it. I wonder (hope) there might be a way for this attraction to somehow honor both films?

I'm overall very happy. A lot to be excited about and the things I'm not excited about are worth the trade-off. IMO, Epcot has been on life-support and needed serious help and quickly, and is finally getting it.

I imagine this being an 'official photo op' with a line and a CM to photograph you next to Walt? I'm probably wrong but that's what I envisioned when I saw this...
