News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Definitely. Masks make Disney in the summer almost completely unenjoyable.

    Horizons vs Mission: Space

I think it was more the message and hope in the ride. Maybe I'm naive but the whole theme and the way they talk about the 21st century is very hopeful to me. Not that the 21st century actually turned out or will turn out like it does in the ride, but back in the 80s I bet a lot of people not...

I now know why this site has a weather forum

I've heard that it's pretty hot in Orlando, but there's a chance it might rain several times throughout the year.

    Horizons vs Mission: Space

I unfortunately never got to ride Horizons, but I have been on MS several times. Thought it might be a smart idea to do Orange Training, whole family got sick, went back to our La Quinta for the rest of the day to throw up. Call me unfair, but just based off that I prefer Horizons, even...

    But... you prefer MS?

    Horizons vs Mission: Space

I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused why I see any votes whatsoever for MS? ...how..?

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Sounds amazing, however the CDC suuuuure changes around a lot.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

I wouldn't call myself an introvert but I personally never really liked when characters came over to the table 😂 I last did Chef Mickey last August (during Covid = no Mickey whatsoever) and it's the most I've ever enjoyed breakfast at Disney World (actually, second to Be Our Guest). Great food...

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

MMRR didn’t even try - they could have projected onto the ceiling, or darkened the projections towards the top so there’s not a blaring line.

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Maybe warehouse was the wrong word.. just feels kinda temporary..? I get what you're saying with potc feeling likes its in a warehouse (because it is) but it also still feels complete - you can't look behind you and see a metal wall, it's much more immersive. For that matter it doesn't real...

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Great ride, but you admit it does feel a little warehousey, right? That’s all I was saying :)

DHS Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Having the show scenes not really integrate into the floor makes it feel very temporary, unlike rides like Splash Mountain where you're completely immersed, ceiling and floor and all.

News Blue and gold color scheme arrives at the Transportation and Ticket Center

Every time I see those signs (the old paint job) I think it makes Magic Kingdom look dated and cheap. As a guest, it's pretty much the first part of Disney you see, so it's gotta look nice. That's just my opinion. Glad they decided to repaint!

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Hate to start this, but why do you say that? Before Covid, sickness was still a part of life; just something we have to live with. If folks are afraid of getting Covid I won't argue with temp checks or masks, but having temp checks before Covid would have been super weird, why should after-Covid...

    Space Mountain vs Splash Mountain

I hope that will never happen. I'm scared that after this alleged 'Space Mountain movie' (which probably won't happen) they're going to do something to WDW's.. I'm not saying WDW's isn't in need of a refurb, but honestly I love it as it is. I love the retro-computer vibes.
