First time on a cruise - Advice?

Agreed! I wasn't insinuating that you should try and do everything.... just that you should try and enjoy what the ship has to offer. I frequently hear guests say they wish they spent more time on the ship, so you're sort of ahead of the game by knowing that in advance.

First time on a cruise - Advice?

The big attraction in Nassau is always Atlantis, and it is worth a peek. Personally, we opted out of the excursions on Nassau, and just took a water taxi from the pier to Atlantis. We walked around there on our own for about an hour, took some pictures, and then water taxied it back to the ship...

    What difference are there?

You don't have to sign up. You are assigned a day and time. Your main dining room server will give you the details. As for tastings, there is a small fee for anything involving alcohol. Tastings you would need to sign up for, at the guest services desk. The little demonstrations, like the Art...

First time on a cruise - Advice?

How exciting! My advice would be this... Take time to enjoy the ship itself. Have you been to Nassau before? If you have, you may want to skip it and enjoy a rather empty ship. If you have not, decide on one or two things you really want to do, and then save part of the day for ship time. You...

Would any one be able to help out?

Oof! That's a toughie! From what I remember, Disney discontinued the "Just Married" and switched to the "Happily Ever After" ones about a year or so ago. Up until fairly recently, you could still stumble across the older designs every now and then, but now I think they are pretty hard to find...

    Disney Cruise FAQ's

When I was on the Wonder in 2013, they had real hairdryers available in the fitness center's locker room, so the one night I really needed a dryer, I went up there and used that one. Not sure if they always have them available though.

    DCL Honeymoon Suggestions

Congrats! My husband and I met on a Disney Cruise and got married on a Western Caribbean 2 years later. SO memorable! We had the BEST time! You're making a great choice! In Key West, aside from the normally, touristy things like The Conch Train and Margaritaville, there's an awesome bar called...

    Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

They are similar to the ones you can buy in the parks. I find them to be higher quality than The Disney Store ones.

Wedding on Disney Dream? Advice? Thoughts? Opinions ? Suggestions?

I got married on a DCL cruise, though not ON the ship, and not through the cruise line, so I don't really have info on the services offered, BUT I can tell you that every person on the ship, fellow cruisers included, were incredibly nice, sweet, and wonderful about giving us their best wishes...

    Have you tried....?

So they offer it in the hair salon. It's called the Frangipani Scalp Treatment. Last time I had it it was about $30. They massage your head and shoulders for about 30 minutes, and apply an amazing, awesome smelling monoi oil to your hair, which does wonders for shine, moisture and general hair...

    Halloween

Halloween on the ships is super fun! We loved trick-or-treating, seeing the charaters in costume, and going to the costume party in the nightclubs! Have fun!!!!!

    Nursery

Our then 1 year old used the nursery on the Wonder a couple of times back in September of 2013. We never had any problem getting reservations, in fact, one of the times, we just walked in and they said they could take him. I found the cast to be polite, friendly and caring. They listened very...

    Have you tried....?

I'll start out with a few of mine... One of my "must do's" is pretty common, but not something that everyone makes time for. Lunch in the dining room. The menus are usually fun and unique, and it's a nice relaxing alternative to the buffet or counter service. Best kept secret? Hands down, the...

    Have you tried....?

Hi, Fellow DCL Fans! I know we are always sharing tips for new cruisers, but I thought it might be fun to share tips for experienced cruisers too! So, lay it on me.... What is your coolest experience? Best menu item? Best kept secret? (We promise not to tell!) Thing that a DCL fan has...

A couple of questions about allergies and sea sickness before booking my first cruise.

How exciting! Prepared to be addicted to Disney Cruise Line!!!! I have first hand experience with cruising with allergies. My husband has several fruit allergies, I am allergic to mango, and our 1 year old son is allergic to eggs. As a general rule of thumb, DCL is excellent at dealing with...

Sailing on the Wonder...and I was wondering...

I agree... As long as you know what to expect, you'll be fine! The ship is still beautiful and well cared for. Service is still impeccable. Personally, I really enjoy the "classic" ships, (Magic and Wonder), since the smaller size means less people onboard.
