News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

this is the only place where we can discuss about masks and masks policies. Even if opinions about masking has been made multiple times, everyone can expose his own opinion which is nice. What is the problem to let this thread continues like that ?

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

I only went two times in WDW, august 2018 and end of october 2019. The first one was packed but waiting time was ok. In 2019, it was horrible, i remember the first day at EPCOT, we stayed only 3h because of the heavy crowd. Don't know what to expect for my next trip in 20days. Hope really with...

And why not a theme park in a snowy spot. Like Canada :) Imagine the magic in winter and at christmas. Paris+Tokyo > often rainy Hong kong + Florida > tropical Canada > Snowy !

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Good for you. If you enjoyed it in theses conditions you have little expectations or maybe it was your first time there? Anyway. Hoping masks will be optional end of November. I did the maximum to protect others and myself during almost two years. Now i don't take care about those id**ts who...

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Wrong... i was a passholder at Paris, and went dozens of time even during Covid (and so even with masks). With a limited capacity, and masks outdoor, plexiglass everywhere, castle in repair, not so much show, and of course price the same, it's just a shame. I'm not antivaxx, was vaccinated as...

EPCOT Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

Thanks for this great reply. I will put all the chances to my side : I'm developping something to check avaibility automatically with notification when it changes. No more manual checking, yes I'm at that point :)

EPCOT Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

I have a small question: I tried to book space220 this night at 5:55ET (being an astrophotographer it was THE restaurant I wanted). But no luck, even 64 days before (thanks to the resort), no more place ! In short, very sad... So I have no illusion for the other 10 days at WDW (off-site), I...

it becomes better... decreasing cases/hospitalization/ICU. Hope this is a real trend and not a simple daily variation.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

In fact i'm betting it will be good in november for the no mask. Just my 2cents. 14 days rolling has per definition a big inertia. We will probably have periods of no mask/indoor masks for a long time.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

what will happen at 70% ? a big party ? 70% was ok with the first strain. We don't even know if with the delta variant an herd immunity is possible. The good news is the drop of positivity rate (20 to 18%).

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Not it's not. The hospitalizations have a strong biais of one week to 2 weeks. The deaths metric has 3 weeks in average from the contamination moment (in Europe this is the average). The only metric to read is the positivity rate which gives you the actual situation of the spread.

you have to check the positivity rate instead of number of cases. Much better metric.
