    Scammers in the parks

One of this things I most miss about being a CM is calling out people who pull crap like (all of the above. Especially you, @TLtron, I hope that wasn't too traumatic.) Just remember, folks, if you get cut off in line by a CM merging the FP and SB lines, BE NICE. I promise you have a much better...

Disney's Social Media in the Wake of Tragedy

The company may not, but individual Entertainment venues from all the theme parks are showing support on social media. It's cliché, but a lot of the gay community LOVES theme parks, and a lot of them LOVE Entertainment. I doubt there are any theme park performers who are more than two degrees...

Disney Professional Internship - Drug Testing

True. Look at me, assuming. You know what happens when you assume: you make an "" of "u".

Disney Professional Internship - Drug Testing

I have to imagine that people will look at this thread years down the line and at how demonized marijuana currently is.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

You are absolutely correct. I adjusted my post, so, in turn, you should adjust yours to hide what you quoted from mine. ;) @Disneyhead'71 as well.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

Looks like a very worthy addition to Universal. Another ride that innovates and pushes the boundaries. That said...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

Actually, a legitimate point. Pooh's Thoughtful Spot closed sometime in 2010, so I was giving Disney too much credit with that timeline.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

I'm counting from when what it replaced closed to when what replaced it opened. Toontown Fair closed 2/11/11. The first part that mattered (Little Mermaid and Enchanted Tales) opened 12/6/12. Just under on year and ten months (shockingly fast). Seven Dwarf's Mine Train opened 5/28/14. Over...

    Cast Member Wages

It terrifies me that there are actually people on this board (or in existence, for that matter), who are so dismissive of the societal issues separating America. If you can't see that it's an issue at Disney, there's no hope for you.

    "Show" keeps getting worse

I don't think there's enough space on the internet for that list... I'm pretty sure his post was made in jest...

Subtle Change to Celebrate the Magic

While I prefer Lion King, I'm glad to see they're keeping it fresh. That's exactly the kind of attention attractions need on a regular basis. Though, to be a totally hypocrite, I do miss "The Magic, The Memories, And You".

    "Show" keeps getting worse

The money exists for signs, refurbs, new attractions, new parks... But obviously we don't want to SPEND it. That would be crazy!

    "Show" keeps getting worse

How is this not a small issue? It's supposed to be bright and colorful. It's not bright and colorful. CLEARLY there's a discrepancy.

    "Show" keeps getting worse

I don't think it's a BIG issue, but it is a SMALL issue, of which there are a rapidly growing number. Hence the concern. See the above quote.

    "Show" keeps getting worse

I worked at the Mouse for YEARS, watching major things be ignored. If you can't see that that's a growing issue, you're blinded.
