So I'm very impressed by what I've seen of Shanghai's Pirates. Clearly, it's one of the new crown jewels in Disney's crown. From a SHOW aspect, it's a wonder. That said: what about the ride system? Is it anything we haven't seen before? From what I can tell, it's your standard flume-type ride...

Nothing wrong with being a copycat if that means donating a cool million. I'm sure they would have been making a generous donation regardless of what Disney did, seeing as they lost two TMs.

One thing I just realized I'm going to miss: Mickey and Minnie can currently wiggle their noses (it's not intentional in design, but a party trick they have up their sleeves). I have to imagine that that small feature has been eliminated.
