Project City gone from People Mover

Well golly, where ever would we find some of those? ;)

Guardians of the Galaxy coming to Energy Pavilion at Epcot

"Escape From Knowhere" even sounds bland without the "Guardians of the Galaxy" prefix. Though, I am definitely glad they can't call it "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's Escape From Knowhere". And the idea of "Escape From Knowhere" is just a placeholder til we have a better idea of what we're...

Project City gone from People Mover

The only times you need to worry are when you're loading (frequently cars will come zooming in from unload and collide with one you're trying to board) and if the ride stops and restarts while you're on it. When that happens, MOST of the time, all cars will go as they're supposed to, but...

Project City gone from People Mover

That old relic has as host of issues. My money says the cars were colliding between unload and load. Frequently, the old "turn it off and on again" method works, given a little time. Other times the turntable may stop, and that shuts down the ride. That requires a more technical approach, and...

Disney Quest to close in July 2017

I was hoping Universal's CityWalk would get the Jekyll and Hyde Club from NYC, but... I don't THINK Disney would go for it, but I've always thought it would be fun in Orlando

VIDEO: Dopey Takes a Fall in "Fantasmic"

I wish they'd make it look like DL's boat, but... And why rockwork?

And if they have any leftover, they should send it to Universal to keep Gru on his lift in the parade...

VIDEO: Dopey Takes a Fall in "Fantasmic"

It wouldn't surprise me terribly if they modded our boat to have something similar, after that. Honestly, though, good job everyone. That could have ended terribly. I'm sure Dopey and Goof will be taking a few days off after that one. Dopey's fall was nothing to laugh at, and Goof's neck could...

Universal Orlando accelerates hiring, increases pay

The good ol' days certainly are put into perspective when I'm reminded how little I was paid...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

See, I want them to get ride of Boop/Kitty and Shrek (but leave or move the M&G) and put an attraction of that caliber in place of those two buildings.

    AAs and Screenface

I don't think it should be an all-out replacement for traditional AA faces, but I do believe it's going to be the new norm. At least it'll get better.

    Characters return from retirement?

Still judging. I'm going all sorts of Judy up on your biz.

    Characters return from retirement?

Oh, I KNOW you didn't just refer to Doug characters as those from Recess or Pepper Ann.

"Pixie Dust" it really does happen!

I'm a pretty cynical person, but I still felt it necessary to quote this particular section of your post. All theme park guests need to know this.

    Characters return from retirement?

Nah, if they're THAT retired, they're kept in a warehouse away from the parks. You might see a few rarities, but nothing that doesn't make an appearance once every few months.

    Scammers in the parks

Mostly creepy dudes from where kissing is more culturally acceptable, but there are instances where it's just American dads that think they're entitled or funny or don't understand how interacting with people works. And you would be SHOCKED at the amount of creeps that hit on Lisa Simpson...

"exciting" new attractions that opened this year

All these things combined don't approach the level of excitement for Diagon Alley, let alone with the addition of Kong and Raptor Encounter (if that's your thing). Plus some new street shows of varying quality.

Spirit of America Fife & Drum Core Returning?

Corps, corps! For the love of God, corps!

    Really disappointed about Hulk

As much as I prefer Universal, I would say Disney usually has a smoother time with new attractions. Granted, they're much less innovative nowadays. AND it seems Kong is going exceptionally smoothly.
