It's really not bad. You walk to your cabin bus stop (they are in loops, so each has a stop fairly close), that bus takes you to the main area, and you go to the park. Takes a few extra minutes, but not bad at all! We loved staying at Ft. Wilderness!

I know they have the "CME" (continuing medical education) at the Grand, Boardwalk, and Yatch and Beach Club Resorts. Not sure about any others.

We are using David's for our upcoming November trip! It was a really easy process and they have been very nice and helpful throughout.

They also have EVC/wheelchair accessible cabins where they have ramps instead of stairs, so I'd say go for it! It's a really cool resort!
